Off topic general, "what brand of makeup do ya'll use", "what's for dinner", "my boyfriend is having children with his brother's sister in law", "why don't black men date black women", "ya'lls a bunch a thirsty ho's" threads.
Ghetto and it gives off the vibe, I don't have a real job other than in the entertainment industry. I have never seen a neck tattoo (front and side of the neck) that look professional enough to wear. Even if you load up tons of make-up to cover it up, it's still not going to work.
Babygirl, if you can use a glue stick to help cover ur brows....you can cover a tattoo...there is latex that you can use as skin and put makeup on top and walla covered!.. HUSH UP.
YOU THOUGHT IT WAS A JOKE, I DON'T SEE ANYONE LAUGHING NOW.
Anyone who would get a visible tattoo anywhere near their face isn't a dating prospect for me. Not that they aren't a good person, but the type of man I want must be able to blend in with all types of society and a neck tattoo isn't cutting it.
Hay personas que usan ropas muy caras, pero tienen sentimientos muy baratos...
It's ghetto and unprofessional. People who have neck and/or face tattoos take themselves out of the real money making hiring pools. If you get one, this is what you are doing to yourself. A neck or face tattoo says to the world that you are resigned to not go any farther in society.
I don't know why so many young black men and women (smh) do this to themselves. Make no mistake, no one is hiring a nurse with a neck tattoo. No one is hiring a lawyer with a neck tattoo. Hell, you probably wouldn't even be able to get into law school with a neck tattoo being that you have to interview to get in. No one is hiring to you to even sit at a reception desk, being that you will be the first impression of that business the public sees.
DO NOT get a neck tattoo. It will ruin your career. Unless you plan on working in a tattoo parlor or running your own business specifically serving the ghetto community, a tattoo on your face/neck will take you nowhere. You're putting yourself in a bad situation for no damn reason other than having ghetto values.
To each it's own, I don't have one, but who am I to judge those that do?
A person with NO tattoos can look ghetto, tacky and unprofessional (see it everyday)....and I've seen some of the most professional people dressed in business suits WITH tats (neck included) look like a million bucks....so for me to judge a person based on something they've chose to do to their body isn't right.
Oh and YES, my lawyer, OB/GYN, mortgage broker and chef can have a neck tat....the people you judge based on looks alone can be some of the most intelligent folks around, so I refuse to exclude them based alone on that, it's kind of like WP saying they wouldn't go see Dr. Keith Black...because he's black.....one of the most GIFTED black doctors, but black regardless, or they don't respect Obama as Senator because he's black...that black senator is now the President....I refuse to miss out on something that could be great all because of an assumption of what a person may be....
I would never put a tattoo on myself, have I seen some cute ones? yes. But from my personal standpoint, I think they make ppl look cheap and seem wishy washy, that's just my personal opinion. I'm married now (husband doesn't have tattoos) I don't know if I would have ever gotten pass the hello stage with a man who had tattoos.
