Black men in general have a severe inferiority complex...it starts in childhood/teenaged years. It gets worse once they graduate high school (or not) and those doors start slamming in their faces. I pity them.
Why do you pity us? Other than Oprah, the most successful black people in this country are black men......see Dr. Ben Carson and Bob Johnson for a few examples.
Is the fact that no other race has their women outpacing their men discomforting to black men? Are their jibs at black women really a manifestation of their inability to surpass us? Is the "angry black women" really a figment of the imagination concocted by lazy ass black men dealing with frustrated sistas
Black men who earn far more than black women have to deal with "angry black women" just like lower class black men. Unfortunately, our income won't save us when it's time to deal with a black woman.

Are some black men insecure because their women (and the world, at large) outperform them exponentially? Since black men can't be men (in the traditional sense -- being the breadwinner, having the degree, etc.), and with gender roles being so fixed in the black community, how has this incited the hateful and violent manifestation of black men's insecurity?
We've all seen it, from celebrity black men to the average Joequan. Some black men (I don't want this thread to get lost in semantics, so I'll avoid stereotypes) are noticeably insecure, especially when dealing with black women. Do you think black women's wild success is emasculating to black men? Is the fact that no other race has their women outpacing their men discomforting to black men? Are their jibs at black women really a manifestation of their inability to surpass us? Is the "angry black women" really a figment of the imagination concocted by lazy ass black men dealing with frustrated sistas? Do they use their sexual prowess and other material things to compensate for their inefficiencies? Let's discuss.
So we don't waste time arguing particulars, here are the facts:
Among U.S. residents, Black females earned 68 percent of associate's degrees, 66 percent of bachelor's degrees, 71 percent of master's degrees, and 65 percent of all doctor's degrees awarded to Black students. Source
According to a report from the United College Negro Fund, the number of black women enrolling in college surpasses all other races and genders for the first time since the U.S. Census Bureau began gathering college enrollment data. Source
The graduation rate of black men is lower than that of any group. Only 35 percent of black males enrollees graduated within six years from N.C.A.A. Division I colleges in 1996, compared with 59 percent of white males, 46 percent of Hispanic men, 41 percent of American Indian males and 45 percent of the black women who entered the same year. Source
I know that statistics can be manipulated, but this doesn't seem far off from my experiences at my university. Yes I'm in college. Anyone beg to differ?
For those that don't believe that college is the be all, end all. I have some information for you too.
For the sake of this conversation, we are going to assume that "the man" is not bringing black men down. So we can adequately discuss the topic at hand and not point fingers at black women, we are also going to assume the black woman is an angry, bitter, self-hating wildebeest focused on bringing the black man down. I don't need personal anecdotes about your successful daddies and cousins, they're anomalies. If you find any typos, no need to quote and correct me. Just assume I'm an uneducated buffoon like...nevermind, too easy.
It's clear you have an inferiority complex. Whether you like it or not, the top inventors, business owners, doctors, engineers and lawyers are all black men. Even a black guy with no college degree can drive a tractor-trailer and earn more than a bw with a bachelor's, in fact, a lot of hard working bm w/o a degree earn more than an educated bw. You need to get over it.
The problem with Black men and women is that y'all fight too much. You don't resolve your differences in a civil manner, but blame and absolve yourselves of any wrongdoing. Less fighting and more uniting.
