Hoodies made *him* feel safe. Like so many teens (and adults), he wore them as a protective shell, a security garment. #Trayvon

I’m going to stop here. But just claim one of these memories I tweeted. Carry part of this boy with you, write him on your heart. #Trayvon
Write the beautiful details of all the black children you meet on your heart. That’s where they’ll be safest. #Trayvon
I feel like this stuff is important. #Trayvon
Saw this on Tumblr and thought this was the sweetest thing.
just your average, normal teenage boy. his parents are better people than me, because george zimmerman would have to die. like haven't we as people suffered enough? when will this end? so tired, so tired.
Just think of all of the other black and brown boys similar to Trayvon who are murdered senselessly. I really hope this boy wasn't murdered in vain. I hope his murder sparks some much needed change. There needs to be some justice in this world.
What breaks my heart the most is different Sybrina looks in those pictures... She looks so damn happy compared to now. You can truly tell this has taken a toll on her, the heartbreak is all over her face..
Such an adorable kid. Could have easily been one of my little cousins. It's so sad how they tried to villify him in the media, because he was black. Only his friends and family truly know what he was like.
