Rabbi Neulander was convicted of hiring two hit men (paying them $18 000) to murder his wife Carol Neulander in 1994.

Damn this was my childhood! Who remembers those mornings when they showed this, American Justice, and Cold Case Files? And then I would have to catch Unsolved Mysteries on lifetime lol...I loved this show. R.I.P. Mr. Winfield

I still watch those shows on True Crime TV. I had to get an antenna in the summer due to the trees blocking my Directv dish.

Loved that show. I occasionally watch episodes on YouTube. Paul Winfield and Keith David (he narrated later episodes after Paul passed) have iconic voices.

They’re hard to find. There are a few on YouTube and dailymotion but some of the best narrated original episodes are missing.

I know American Justice episodes were airing on ID under a different title.

I love City Confidential!

I’ve fallen in love with all over again thanks to True Crime TV. I wish this would get a reboot with Keith David as the narrator.

Paul Winfield had such an iconic voice and his sardonic wit and word play made this such a great series.

I love the way Mr. Winfield pronounced "murderrrr". If you've watched the series you know what I mean.

He definitely had a way with words.

Yes. And stupid A & E or Crime or whatever they're calling themselves now only shows the same AJ and CC episodes on Sundays. I just checked and its the same episodes tomorrow about the wife who killed her husband and was a nympho in Durham and the man in Boston who killed his wife and blamed it on a Black man.
Its always the same episodes.. I remember some really good ones. Wish I could get them streamed or something. Trust me I been looking...:emoji_expressionless:

I loved City Confidential. Paul Winfield's narration was unmatched. Although I give Keith David an A for effort, there was something special about Paul's episodes. Both are two of my favorite male actors.
American Justice was another good one.

I loved the voices of Paul Winfield & Bill Kurtis. I rank them up there with Orson Wells.

I have to throw Keith Morrison’s voice in there as a top narrarator for true crime. He is sarcastic too so, I love it!

I know this thread is from a few months ago but the show is coming back!

A&E Network's veteran true crime series "City Confidential" returns with all-new episodes to explore crimes that have impacted cities and towns across America. The iconic, noir-style series goes beyond the headlines to showcase the emotional and unexpected stories that catapulted unique communities, both large and small, into the public eye. "City Confidential" premieres Thursday, October 28 at 10pm ET/PT on A&E.

Narrated by actor Mike Colter ( "Evil"), each one-hour episode of "City Confidential" tells the story of one crime, the ensuing investigation, and the ripple effect it had on a community. Speaking with family, friends, detectives, journalists, and others close to the case, the series weaves together first-hand accounts and archival footage to explore the crime and its outcome. From a reclusive Amish farming community to a college campus in Washington DC to an upscale shopping district in Houston, the series travels across the country to examine a variety of cases, the history of the community and how these crimes had lasting effects on the local citizens.

Kieth David narrated one of my favorite episodes. It was about the swinger mobster out NJ. It's the mob family that the Sopranos are based on. That episode was shocking. I won't spoil it, but it's the very last episode of the series.

The old series, not the reboot.

I’m excited about the reboot but want Keith David back as narrator.
