I over heard my kids teacher say she made cookies in her air fryer and said “You’ve never had a cookie until you air fryer it”

I have not fried chicken in oil since I got my air fryer two years ago. Now granted, I've only done wing dings and never tried to do whole pieces of chicken (I think I would still use a stove for that) but my wing dings are SO good in the fryer. It took some experimentation to get the temps and times correct for the right crispiness but now, I'd never go back to oil or oven frying.

Finally got a Ninjafoodi. Wal-Mart seems to have the cheapest version- Grill/Roast/Air Fryer/Bake . Made burgers so far on the grill and loved them!!!

Just got a porterhouse from Publix, can’t wait to fire it up. Still collecting ideas, want to get to chicken and salmon next.

Do you spray oil over your chicken before air frying or just season and stick them bad boys in?

Everything thing taste better in an Air fryer to me but it can be harder to bake. You have to make sure you bake your cookies and cake at a lower temperature than the regular oven because they will burn.

Lemon Pepper Wet chicken wings are delicious in my air fryer. I haven't made any fried chicken without it in the past while.

Whole chicken -- the rotisserie function and how crispy it gets the skin cannot be beat

Onion rings -- they're really crunchy without being too oily and the breading doesn't have to be caked on, which is a positive for me

AL PASTOR -- the beautiful things that airfryer does to pork....my gawd

Crunchy dumplings -- not having the oil pop me is cool but the real joy is having them done (frozen to finshed ) under 10 minutes

Ok, so this is my foolproof method that took me several tries to perfect. I make sure the wing dings are pretty dry before I start working with them so I blot out any excess water. Then I brush them with Crystal's Garlic Hot Sauce before I lightly season them with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder. Then, I toss them in a mixture of 3/4 flour, 1/4 aluminum free baking powder that's been seasoned with garlic powder & onion powder, a little turmeric, a little paprika, black pepper and dry mustard. I add them in a single layer to the airfryer and just do a light spritz of oil spray on them. I cook them 12 minutes on 380 before I flip them, another 12 minutes at 380 on the other side and then a final 6 minutes at 400. They come out SO good--crunchy on the outside but still moist inside. I don't even add any sauce to them after cooking. I like them dry. I'm using the Emeril Air Fryer that I bought off of QVC but I needed to do quite a bit of adjusting from his recipe book. Following his recipe gave me wings that were cooked through but they weren't crunchy or flavorful enough so you might need to play with your temps and seasonings to get it hitting right for you.

I’ve only made like 3 things in my air fryer so far, and none of them tasted better than just using the stove/oven. They were good, just not better to me.

my roasted potatoes come out better than in the oven because they get crispy all over and breaded items like pork chops come out better than in the oven because they don't sweat but that's about it. I don't fry anything in oil anymore so idk about that.

I just made hot dogs in my air fryer and it's the only way I'll do it now when I'm not cooking them on a grill. I have a Ninja Foodie air fryer and I use the grill function. OMG the skin comes out so crispy and slightly burnt. I put them on brioche buns and used this blackberry and caramelized onion sauce I had leftover from when I made ribs. Very bougie and elite. Lol

Details please! My mom bought one, I this sounds like it’d be really good.

Even if I only cooked wings in my air-dryer it would be money well spent.

One of my friends makes cinnamon rolls in her air fryer and she said she will never bake them ever again in life. Apparently it’s the bomb.com made in an air fryer.

Toaster oven
  • rice :arrogant
  • baked mackerel
  • baked sweet potatoes
  • baked sweet potato fries, crispy outside, soft inside and dash of cinnamon
  • baked beans
  • bbq chicken
  • cookies
  • brownies
  • mac and cheese
  • muffins
  • breakfast muffin (just some teared bread, egg and cheese)

I'm against standing over the stove to cook a meal. I don't want to watch my food cook. I just need to make sure nothing burns.

Y'all are elite baking in the air fryer! I have made salmon and wings that are much better than I've made on the stove. I tried sweet potato fries but they were a miss. :nah I'm taking notes on this thread.

What brand of airfryer do you have? It's so hard to find one that makes good sweet potato fries.

Omfg, I made a rack of lamb in my air fryer with a herbes de Provence seasoning base it was so so good and tender.

I would have never made rack of lamb other wise. I did have to keep checking on internal temperature periodically so if you do try it and you just want to let it sit make sure to get a wireless thermometer.

Wings, broccoli and fish. I used to hate broccoli but now I eat it with every meal since I started cooking it in an air fryer :skull:
