Y'ALL. I finally saved enough money to buy myself an air fryer but I don't know which air fryer would be the best to buy. I plan on it being an investment which means I'll use it pretty frequently. I have around 300 dollars to spend on a decent one. For you frequent air fryer users recommend me a good one and don't forget to show some recipes.

300 aint really necessary big baller shot caller. wait til black friday or round that time. you shouldnt have to spend more than 100

do you have a large family? they all are pretty much one in the same with the exception of a few features.

you have to decide what size you want and think about what you would like to cook with it.

you have to think about if you want an airfryer thats a 2 in 1 type appliance with something else.

you have to decide whether you want a digital air fryer or analog one (seeing as though you saved 300, you might as well go for digital lol)

also check how high the temperature. some only go to 400 and some to 450

I have a mini 1.2 qt air fryer, which is big enough for basically one or two people. It was 19.99 on Black Friday at Macys a few years ago and like 7.99 once i filled out the rebate. Its analog and It works just as well as the one my grandma got for 200.

Something else to think about is the materials though. Im getting a new one bc I want a bigger one, but mine also started peeling. The removable tray. I didnt clean it as often as I should Ill admit

This is on my black friday list, though LSA trying to put me onto another one by Ninja or some sh!t, which is supposed to be even better. I had my eye on the vortex since last year

A couple of years back, my former boss got me an air fryer for Christmas, and I've been using it going on over 2 years now, no issues. That same air fryer was only around $60 or close to. So I definitely got my money's worth out of it and then some.

Look for something with great reviews. Read those reviews to see what people say. Check out the photos as well. You don't have to spend over $100 for a good air fryer. Expensive doesn't always equal Best Quality. You should be able to find a great air fryer in the $50-$75 range, that will last you a couple of good years and do exactly what its supposed to do.

turkey in the rotisserie attachment.

300 dollars on a air fryer ... are you a cater? like 100 is enough if you trying to be fancy. I spent like 30 bucks on mine and it works.

No lie, that's basically what it is. I still have my easy bake oven from 98. I was a whole master chef. I need an air fryer. It's been great these past few months in "learn to cook something new" land, but I'm over that damn stove.

I got my airfare for about $50 at JcPenney. It’s not digital but it works very well and I use it almost everyday. I even fry my turkey bacon on the mornings in their.

You can get 2-3 appliances for that $300. Don’t do it.

I’ve been wanting a rotisserie!! This is such a good investment. Thanks for sharing!

Ps. OP make sure you get an air fryer that is big enough. It’s annoying having to separate everything into batches. Before I saw this, my ideal air fryer was the new ninja double air fryer.

I literally sit and watch my chicken turn round and round...and round. I'm fully aware that I need a lifee6
How big is it? I am really liking this one.

OP you’re a month early. Those joints will be $79.99 come Black Friday lol
I'm waiting for those times to buy one hoping that its at least 50 dollars cheaper than regular.

It fits on my counter nicely, here are the dimensions.....12.5 In. L X 15.75 In. W X 14.0 In. H. The rotisserie air fryers are usually a bit large, but you can absolutely cook a whole chicken in a regular fryer.

Oh good, I don't have to make a thread..

There are only two of us and I have limited counter space so I am looking for a good one for $100 or less.

I was looking at the small Ninja, and the PowerXL Vortex.

Any more suggestions that I should check out?

im struggling with picking one. i might just say fµck it and get the instant pot lid to save space. im mad annoyed though bc the whole instant pot/ air fryer crisp duo is the same price as buying the damn lid by itself, so i might as well just get a new instant pot

Came in to say this.
I am an Instant Pot groupie though with a membership to the Church of Instant Pot.

The Vortex is an amazing machine that may have your oven feeling some type of way, due to neglect.

I air fry a lot of things in it. I dehydrate fruit. I reheat food and neglect the microwave. My favorite thing to do is to make a rotisserie chicken. I make cornbread in it but have to put it on the bottom rack and make sure the top rack is in so that the top doesn't darken too fast.

This thing is amazing and like the font I quoted, if it broke today, I would first cry and then get it again in an instant. It is THAT great.

If it were a man, it would give off BDE and deliver!

My favorite thing to cook in mine is fish. It just turns out better than any other method, and is the easiest option as well.

You still have time. I bought mine for my birthday last year(Christmas baby) for CHEAP! Under $100! Keep looking and waiting. Try Macy's, too because they are struggling. (Got mine from there)
upload_2020-11-19_13-31-34.png

I wondered if I'd made a mistake when they pushed my ship date back but...

I have baked cookies but have to put them on the bottom rack and place the top rack above them to keep the tops from browning too darkly. It's sensitive like that. You can make a small pizza in it.

This thing is amazing and I love it like it's family. I have lil silicone bakeware and mitts. The door comes off so you can clean it really well. This thing is amazing. I feel like Rebeccas felt about Chipotle Grill! Like, OMG!!!

Someone on this site hipped me to the Ninja Foodie Oven ($200 or less), which is an air fryer, dehydrator, oven, etc.

And I'm getting that for Christmas. I like the Ninja Foodie Grill/air fryer but the oven version flips up to look cute and save counter space. So that's my choice.

It's got great reviews on Amazon. I'm buying from the manufacturer though because Amazon is shady.
