Definitely not. I know sometimes American’s diet can be trash, but Pop Tarts, sugary cereals, candy, marshmallows and crackers is not a fair representation of American cuisine. At all. It’s funny seeing American food listed in other countries’ international aisle though instead of Latino, Asian, and Italian, etc foods like in the states.
It's like they took the unhealthiest stuff from a bunch of different aisles and mashed it all together calling it "American food". I mean it's like a cheap thanksgiving dinner on one shelf, movie theatre concession stand on one shelf, an office snack bar on another, and what even is that blue stuff on the bottom? I'm amazed at the fact that they have Fluff there, I don't even see that in our grocery stores. I guess I should be glad California isn't written on the side with other US states/cities. I'm honestly surprised they even know about Oklahoma LOL and why is Vegas the only city listed on there while the rest are states. What is going on with this display???
I see odds and ends that were probably curated for Americans living abroad and people wanting to try US snacks or comfort foods. There’s nothing embarrassing or bad about this. The items also need to be shelf stable.
No, that looks like our gas station/convenience store snacks. In the grocery store, those snacks would be by the register, not really in the aisle where the food is.
