I want to get back into drawing and eventually, I want to animate my work. Which programs do you use to animate and what classes did you take to learn the basics of animation? I'll put this in hobbies/activities cause it seemed appropriate so hopefully, mods won't move it.

Aaron Blaise has a great basic animation course on his site for sale. It's only $1 now

I purchased it and it covers all the basics pretty well.

-Make sure you have a drawing tablet. There's lots to choose from made for every kind of budget. Take your time in choosing.
-Sign up for the Adobe Creative Suite (Flash, Animate, etc)
-Look up your local community colleges, they might offer animation courses in the "continuing education" section as a certificate.

You can try 2(3, because when you try to cancel they give 1 more to rethink) free months on Skillshare.
Some youtubers are sponsored and have links in their description.
Edit:
Found one for you
