I had a friend do it years ago. Total liquid, she lost a lot of weight. Not to be a downer, she gained it all back plus more just like Oprah when she did Opti.
I had a cousin who did it, lost a lot of weight and gained it all back. It's not a sustainable diet because it doesn't teach you how much to eat, what to eat, etc that's why people tend to gain the weight back.
I was on a modified plan Bc my doc didn’t think I needed to lose that much weight. Most people are 500+ who do it at the clinic I was at. I was like almost 1/2 there size.
I did 3 shakes and one meal a day. I lost 40 lbs but then stopped but regret not moving forward with it. . It’s been about 5 or 6 years and I’ve been able to maintain it.
I’m actually planning to go back on it Bc it’s the best thing I’ve done. I’ve tried Keto, IF, etc. but they just didn’t work for me. I am hoping to lose another 40 by august.
this was so easy. You didn’t need to worry about your meals at all. Only some veggies and protein for dinner. If I wanted to be “bad” I would eat a salad from a restaurant. I was very strict. I also didn’t so much exercise. I walked on the treadmill on an incline for 30 minutes. I lost at least 3lbs a week with exercise and 1.5 without it.
my neighbor who I actually went to high school with also did it. She did the full program (4shakes and no meals) and lost over 100lbs. I saw her yesterday and that girl lost more weight. It’s about training your mind and learning new habits. If you are not going to change your habits. It will not work.
Thank you for that. I like that you did the modified plan so you incorporated real food. I'm currently doing 1 shake for breakfast. I may also try a shake for lunch too (with a healthy dinner).

I think it’s easier. If you do it I would suggest doing that. I’m in Canada so the optimist program is different. I think in fhe US it’s only 800 calories. In Canada it’s 900.
