I'm sorry this happened, but please tell me how the police should gender this person? They find a dead body. They simply state that the body is either "male" or "female". They have no idea how the person identifies. If they found Rupaul all dolled up as a woman and dead should they call him a "female" knowing full well the body found was a "male"? Rupaul is a self professed drag queen, not a Transgender person that identifies as female.
A few years ago a transgender person was found and the "community" got upset because the police identified the body was that of a "male". The "community" stated it was "violence" to call the body "male". This is ridiculous. If I'm a mother and you say the body of a female was found I would assume my child who is Transgender is fine and should be returning soon. I don't understand the idea that calling a found body "male" when it obviously is, a problem.
Exactly....good points. As soon as the body was examined the truth was known. The poor victim was male. O/T and even when receiving medical care by a doctor or at a hospital/clinic transfemales medical treatment is different from biological women for obvious reasons. Even if they identify as trans women they still don’t have the same medical issues as real women so their treatment is aligned with their biological xes and body.
