As a long time member and former prolific participant,
the rules are not clear to me.
Therefore, it must surely be confusing
for new fonts or fonts who are casual visitors.

So that members have a better understanding
of what constitutes an offence that does not get a pass:

This post (not directed at me) appears to be in breach of the rules in terms of:
  • Abusive
  • Derailing
Rather than a time-out or even warning points, it was simply sent to NSIS.

A post I once reported that was grossly abusive was also simply sent to NSIS 99999999999 without any consequences.

I brought the incident to Member's Questions (i.e. THIS sub-forum), and a moderator banned the offending font within minutes. I was astounded. But grateful.

Therefore, in the spirit of justice (a human need and right) and so we all understand what to expect, can a moderator please explain the breaches and how infractions are applied and in what situations offences get a pass?

(I understand that the very first offense simply gets a warning.
But this was not a first offense)

Once the rules are better understood, I would imagine fewer offenses, fewer reports and a lighter workload for moderators and The Admin.
