I saw on Friday when John Berman was talking about their time change. He was snarky as ever. He was saying it was a secret move because there had been no promotion of it at all. They had just done a moon landing story, so he made fun of the fact that he was returning to the same spot, except with fewer chairs. It was pretty funny.

I wonder if they will let them sit down or will they continue with that stupid and awkward looking walking around the set.

When did they tell Poppy, Phil and everyone else working in the NY department that they were out of a job? I would not be comfortable with the way they are running things. But where else is there to go?

I cannot with CNN. I stopped watching after the Don, Poppy, and the 3rd woman (Kaitlin?) morning show. They need to get it together. Until they demonstrate some anchor and show stability, I will stay away.

It may be a silly thing, but I tune in to hear certain anchors, and find mildly irritating when someone else is covering their show. I know, I know, they get days off too, and that’s cool…but CNN needs to remember that. Tuning in and finding a new show, or a new anchor on the daily is not it.

Other than Anderson 360, I don’t know what’s going on over there, and imo, it is a shame. CNN invented this game, and now they are at the bottom. Smdh.

I don't think I ever actually watched Ana Cabrera when she was on CNN. I always found her name amusing though. Now that she's on MSNBC and I catch her show occasionally, I just find her unimpressive. They should always pair her with whatshisface with the three names. They are both more tolerable as a team. Except when they both struggle to end the show with their own personal catchphrases.

CNN and MSNBC’s prime time lineups are boring as hell now. Lots of mid personalities who shouldn’t even be hosting a show.

Jen Psaki does not have the chops or appeal for a show. She’s worse than Alex Wagner. There’s something about Lawrence O’Donnell I don’t like. Laura Coates tries so hard with the emotional angles. The few times I’ve watched, Abby Phillip brings nothing unique—zero personality.

I gave Joy the benefit of the doubt yesterday (thinking perhaps it was heavy makeup), but once again today, as soon as she came on, Joy’s face looked like it got work. It may be a ponytail facelift, as discussed in the Gabby U thread. In addition, she's either bleaching or using lighter makeup. Sad. She looked fabulous in recent weeks.

Feb 12’s gorgeous look:

I didn’t use smiling pics because she doesn't seem to be able to smile anymore.

I changed the channel last night as soon as she came on because of that horrible wig.

Nah. I love Jen Psaki. She is informative and gets good guests. She was on Katy Tur’s show a couple of weeks ago knocking down and serving back her bµllsh!t faster than Serena.

Last week Eddie Glaude was on Deadline Whitehouse and I cackled at this one.

When I saw this trending, I was shocked! What in the world makes the mucky-mucks at MSNBC think regular viewers of their channel are interested in seeing and/or hearing from her? I really need to know the calculus for this decision. She belongs over there on News Max.

As soon as I see or hear her, I am changing the channel.

Brilliant segment on Rona trash ass by Joy Reid today. That lady is already on MSNBC normalizing election denial discourse.

She’s a self admitted paid agent.

Wait, Rona is on MSNBC? I thought after Chucky T embarrassed the bosses yesterday, they rescinded the offer.

I don't think MSNBC is long for this world. I can imagine in five to ten years time that MSNBC will no longer be on the air.
I’m definitely surprised they weren’t absorbed by some other network or dissolved a while back

But they have a semi decent holding amongst viewers- I haven’t found myself on that network (on purpose) since the Floyd riots or maybe even Mike Brown time

The hosts are all just talking about how they think it is an atrocious idea that NBC hired her. Apparently she has a $300K deal for a year. Everyone is angry that an election denier was hired. Rachel says that the bosses told them this weekend that Ronna would not be on MSNBC at all. Rachel says that there were people trying to muddy that message. I usually believe Rachel but here I think I am going to go with the muddiers. Once she is on the payroll, they will want to get their money's worth and will push to have her appear on MSNBC as well as NBC. They never should have hired her. It is an instant credibility killer.

Also, I'm not that impressed with so many of the shows having segments calling out the decision to hire her. NBC and MSNBC make a whole lot of bad personnel decisions that go unaddressed. Agreed this one is horrendous but they have been heading in this direction for awhile.
