Well this is too little too late.

They have all known about these events for at least a week and now after all of the backlash they want to send out cease and desists.

They shouldn't be having any of this in the first place and I am not giving the NBA any form of credit for anything when the All-Star games (the catalyst) wasn't necessary in the first place.

Too late. If Atlanta is gonna do anything, it’s gonna Atlanta :ROFLMAO:

And honestly, anybody clubbing maskless right now probably deserve to get scammed by a fake event.

The clubs can wait. If it’s not private/exclusive (the only way to go baller scouting anyways lol), it’s not even worth the effort anyways....

People in Atlanta have been partying and living their best lives all throughout the pandora. Their lives haven't stopped one bit. They were bound to be out there in the clubs for All Star Weekend, maskless of course.

Basically, NBA is doing a better job of regulating ATL than the Mayor?

The NBA can't do sh!t to stop the parties. All they can do is stop them from using their name and logo.

The parties are still happening. Celebs from all over the country have been flying in for a quick buck all week.

Call me boring but I don’t get the club hype. Just get some wine and get 1/2 friends and chill at home with a nice playlist.

Even that’s risky but not as bad as going clubbing in a packed area with not a single mask on.

Hmmm, so 200 party promoters have enough money to book major celebrities? I imagine people are doing major discounts now. Boosie is getting 30k though.

Bruh I am 22 and I been saying this since I was a teenager, like all going to the club is is just music, liquor, and strangers in a disco setting like bruh I can provide music and drinks at my house FOR FREE with friends. Yup I never understood the club stuff either but peers around my age would look at me like I'm crazy and tell me I got an old soul. Nah bruh it's called saving your money and having fun the safest way possible.

Right. I think old souls live longer cause we cut out the unnecessary stuff lol

Most go broke here due to all the pressure to be on the “scene” and flex from what I’ve seen.

Especially rn, nothing wrong with chilling at home, getting some friends and vining out with hookahs and all.

I think most go to the club especially now because it’s guys with money in town atm, but even they move a certain way.

So unless you can get into the VIP and exclusives, it’s nothing but booze and dustyville dudes trying to flex :ROFLMAO:

I don’t live in ATL but even I’ve seen the promo for all the events this weekend. I refuse to believe Mayor Bottoms wasn’t aware.

Nothing she can do. goverNOT kemp restricted mayors from closing businesses as she ordered earlier on in the pandemic as cases were rising. It's out of her hands, only the Police can fine an establishment if it exceeds capacity.

You think it’s safe to chill with friends smoking hookah during a pandemic?

I don’t personally but it sure is better to than a packed crowded club around strangers is all I’m saying.

I haven’t had company this whole pandemic personally lol

About 10 people already shot, multiple fights and hundreds of car accidents....and that's just Saturday. Most of us who live here are at home. Out of town people are here packing clubs and malls. It's crazy how packed these clubs are. At least one person out of 100s in there may have Covid-19 and boom its a spreader event. Not to mention the amount of STDs that's gonna be transmitted. But hey, it ain't my worry. I hope everyone stays safe. Covid-19 ain't no joke trust.

Unfortunately those of that live Intown in Lit areas can't avoid it. A mix of Drunks, Scammers, thots, skrippas, Obnoxiously Loud Low Vibes, Traffic, and the sound of ret@rded slow WRAPpers blaring through the night/day.
I just get up early to do my errands or goto lesser known areas like West End, Moreland/EastATL, Decatur Square or Perimeter Center to avoid the tourists/travelers.(y)

It's out of my mayor's hands, there's nothing she can do about it. Our reTHUGlican goverNOT kemp restricted any Georgia Mayor from closing businesses. He sued KLB for doing just that early on during the pandemic.
YALL obviously don't live in the city of ATLANTA and don't know what's going on here.:disdain
