Renewed my Costco membership on Friday. Ugh i was not ready for PICTURE DAY. It took me back to the days of GRADE SCHOOL. At least now they've got COLOR pictures on the back of the cards. Homie really tried to sell it to me too, and asked me if i wanted the EXECUTIVE MEMBERSHIP. I was flattered, but kindly declined. lol

My husband and I will literally duel to the death for the last pack of this. Tip - Don't put it in the microwave, use the stove top 5/5!

Now these ain't your ordinary public school lunch fish sticks. These we're crafted by Poseidon.

These taste just like the street tacos in Mexico (okay maybe LA). The chicken is tender and seasoned perfectly. Just gotta hit the corn tortillas in a pan and you're good to go. The salsa is also really good. Flavorful and hot hot hot. They should sell it in the jug not that watery stuff they're currently pushing!

I stay in Costco weekly and the membership is definitely worth it. They usually have a deal on groupon where you pay for the basic membership but get a Costco gift card for the same price so basically it's free.

Also if you don't like something you can return it. Whether it be fresh food or electronics. If you don't like it you have 30days to return it no questions asked.
Hated those fish sticks, sorry. LOL

These are the best cookies I've had in my life (except for choc chip cookies at a local bakery.). Perfect mixture of coconut, warm vanilla and a slight hint of almond. These cookies are perfect and are bomb with milk because they are thin and crispy. Only crunchy cookies I'll ever eat. These are sold at other stores too.

We need a Sam's Club thread... @The Admin , can we get one, pretty pleeeaaassse...

I'm a member at both clubs, but have been doing most of my bulk shopping at Sam's these days. I've found that the produce at my Sam's is superior to Costco's.
I couldn't find a Sam's thread but I'm a recently new member and I'm not fan. Costco is superior.

Has anyone tried Costco's new Beef Stew?

I'm a member of both and appreciate both for different reasons. Bulk grocery shopping, good & fresh produce, some household goods, ecommerce experience, Plus member benefits - Sam's Club. Just about everything else - Costco.

I don't know if all Costcos will carry it, but I recently discovered Olipop. It's like soda but actually good for you instead of just melting your enamel away. Excellent flavor and doesn't have the weird soda mouthfeel.

The food court was trash. Stale Churros, pizza was worse than frozen pizza.
The pricing on frozen foods was higher than Costco's prices. Very minimal discounts compared to Costco who has a discount booklet.
Their bakery area looked delicious.
Pecan Pie was decent but crust was horrible.
Baked chickens looked pretty good.
Prepared deli dishes were tiny, at a higher price point.
I didn't look at their produce or meats.
Holiday items were ok, nothing really stood out.
There's more Costco locations than Sam club's in my area; but I was still expecting it to be more affordable overall.
I'll try again when the holidays are over, to see if I'll renew membership.

@lala k I LOVE Ollipop sodas. They are a prebiotic that is gentle and doesn't taste artificial. I will definitely look for these in Costco, I buy mine from Whole Foods or Target, and a small local organic market.

Yeah, the Sam's Club food court...I don't know ha :arrogant

The main things I get at Sam's are basic groceries (like peanut butter, pasta, canned goods, etc) and their produce. In my area, the fruits and veggies I get at Sam's are better quality and prices than at the Costco.

I’ve gone through this entire thread and didn’t see the GOAT product:
IMG_6852-rotated-e1649006831537.jpg

Absolutely DELICIOUS. They’re the best crab cakes I’ve ever had outside of a restaurant. No filler, just nothing but lump crab meat in every bite. They’ve gone up in price (like everything else) but grab them when you see them on sale. I remember when they were $20 (6 ct) and I think they were $27 last time I checked. At any rate….buy them.

Yes, the crab cakes were holding at $19.99 for the longest. They are a staple. The mini ones are good too.

That crema is amazing in avocado wraps!

What do ya'll think of the Kirkland coconut water? I just finished a 4-pack of the Whole Foods 365 brand and this Costco brand has an off-taste in comparison. WF 365 was sweet and delicious. This is bland and tastes kind of old. They both come in tetra-paks that don't require refrigeration. Neither have any added flavors or sugars. Both are not from concentrate. So what gives, Costco?

ETA: It was Vita Coco brand that I bought from Whole Foods. For some weird reason they don't sell their own 365 brand in 4-packs, only singles.

The Costco brand use to be very good , taste so fresh and good . I always repurchase it for my smoothies and fro drink , bought one two months ago it tasted so horrible . I never reordered since then .I have a feeling they might have recently change the formular or Source of the coconut water changed

OK so it's not just me or the fact that I had it right after finishing Vita Coco. I kept going back to it hoping it was just my sweet tooth throwing off my tastebuds but yes it's horrible. What's sad is I have six 33.3 oz. bottles. $25 down the drain!

If they’re not expired, you can take it back for a refund.

I went to Costco today. I dont know which one of you left a box of Phillips crab cakes out there for me, because you knew I was coming, but thank you. The box was right on top of the salted cod.

idk why it isnt in everyones cart
when i went to Costco, i did not get a rotisserie chicken. i was still full from mcdonalds that day, which caused me to not get it. i walked past them like 'im good'.
imma see how this chicken tortilla soup is though. the samples werent really all that, EXCEPT that burrata mozzarella. she was fire, and melt in my mouth.
