The competent wife

PROVERBS 31:

10 A Competent Wife,
how does one find her?
Her value is FAR above Pearls.
11 Her husband entrusts his HEART to her,
and with her, he will have all he needs.
12 She brings him Good and not trouble
all the days of her life.

13 She seeks out wool and flax;
she enjoys working with her hands.

14 She is like a fleet of merchant ships,
bringing food from a distance.

15 She gets up while it is still night,
providing food for her household,
even some for her female servants.

16 She surveys a field and buys it;
from her own resources, she plants a vineyard.

17 She works energetically; her arms are powerful.

18 She realizes that her trading is successful;
she doesn’t put out her lamp at night.

19 She puts her hands to the spindle;
her palms grasp the whorl.

20 She reaches out to the needy; she stretches out her hands to the poor.

21 She doesn’t fear for her household
when it snows,
because they are all dressed in warm clothes.

22 She makes bedspreads for herself; fine linen and purple are her clothing.

23 Her husband is known in the city gates when he sits with the elders of the land.

24 She makes garments and sells them; she supplies sashes to traders.

25 Strength and honor are her clothing; she is confident about the future.
26 Her mouth is full of WISDOM;
kindly teaching is on her tongue.

27 She is vigilant over the activities of her household;
she doesn’t eat the food of laziness.

28 Her children Bless her; her husband Praises her.

29 “Many women act competently, but you surpass them all!”

30 Charm is deceptive and beauty fleeting, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be Praised.

31 Let her share in the results of her work; let her Good deeds Praise her in the city gates.

Wisdom Prolongs Life...

Proverbs 9:7-12

"Whoever corrects a mocker receives abuse.
Whoever warns a wicked person gets hurt.

Do not warn a mocker, or he will hate you.

Warn a wise person, and he will love you.

Give advice to a WISE person
and he will become even WISER.

Teach RIGHTEOUS people,

and they will learn MORE.

The fear [HONOR] of the Lord is the

beginning of WISDOM.

The KNOWLEDGE of the Holy One is UNDERSTANDING.
You will live longer because of Me [WISDOM],
and years will be ADDED to your life.

If you are WISE, your WISDOM will help you.

If you mock, you alone will be held RESPONSIBLE.

Proverbs 16:10-33:

"A GOOD LEADER MOTIVATES; doesn't mislead, doesn't exploit.

"God cares about HONESTY in the workplace; your business is His Business.

"GOOD LEADERS hate wrongdoing of all kinds; SOUND LEADERSHIP has a MORAL FOUNDATION.

"GOOD LEADERS cultivate HONESTY;
they love advisors who tell them the Truth.

"An INTEMPERATE LEADER causes trouble in the lives around them; you're SMART to stay clear of someone like that.

"GOOD-TEMPERED LEADERS invigorate lives; they're like SPRING RAIN and SUNSHINE.

"Get WISDOM - it's worth more than money; choose INSIGHT over income EVERY TIME.

"The road of RIGHT LIVING bypasses evil; WATCH your steps and save your life.

"First comes PRIDE, then the CRASH— the bigger the EGO, the HARDER the fall.

"It's better to live HUMBLY among the poor
than to live it up among the Rich and Famous.

"It pays to take life SERIOUSLY; things work out when you TRUST in God.

"A WISE person gets known for INSIGHT;
KIND & GRACIOUS words add to your reputation.

"WISDOM is a spring of fresh water,
while fools sweat it out the hard way.

"They make a lot of sense, these WISE folks;
whenever they speak, their reputation increases.

"Gracious speech is like clover honey—
good taste to the soul, quick energy for the body.

"There's a way that LOOKS harmless enough;
LOOK again—it leads straight to hell.

"Appetite is an incentive to work;
hunger makes you work all the harder.

"Mean people spread mean gossip; their words smart and burn.

"Troublemakers start fights; gossips break up friendships.

"Calloused climbers betray their very own friends; they'd stab their own grandmothers in the back.

"A shifty eye betrays an evil intention; a clenched jaw signals trouble ahead.

"Gray hair is a mark of Distinction,
its the AWARD for a God-loyal life.

"Moderation is better than muscle,
Self-control better than political Power.

"Make your motions and cast your votes,
but God HAS THE FINAL SAY."

WISDOM IS GOD'S MIND ON THE MATTER ...

“The REVERENTIAL RESPECT of the LORD
is the beginning of WISDOM,
and seeking to KNOW the Holy One is UNDERSTANDING.

"Because by WISDOM, your days will be many,
and years will be added to your life.

"If you are WISE, you are WISE for your OWN benefit;
if you mock, you alone will suffer the consequences.”

"But "Foolishness" is rowdy; she is gullible and knows nothing.

"She sits by the doorway of her house,
on a seat at the highest point of the city,

She calls to those who pass by, who go straight ahead on their paths, she tells them: “whoever is inexperienced, enter here!”

"To the one who lacks common sense, she calls out, “Stolen water is sweet, and bread eaten SECRETLY is tasty!”

"But he doesn’t know that the DEPARTED spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Hell."

Psalm 19:
1 Better a poor man who lives with integrity
than someone who has deceitful lips and is a fool.
2 Even zeal is not good without knowledge,
and the one who acts hastily[a] sins.

3 A man’s own foolishness leads him astray,
yet his heart rages against the LORD.

4 Wealth attracts many friends,
but a poor man is separated from his friend.

5 A false witness will not go unpunished,
and one who utters lies will not escape.

6 Many seek a ruler’s favor,
and everyone is a friend of one who gives gifts.

7 All the brothers of a poor man hate him;
how much more do his friends
keep their distance from him!
He may pursue them with words,
but they are not there.[b]

8 The one who acquires good sense loves himself;
one who safeguards understanding finds success.
9 A false witness will not go unpunished,
and one who utters lies perishes.

10 Luxury is not appropriate for a fool—
how much less for a slave to rule over princes!

11 A person’s insight gives him patience,
and his virtue is to overlook an offense.

12 A king’s rage is like the roaring of a lion,
but his favor is like dew on the grass.

13 A foolish son is his father’s ruin,
and a wife’s nagging is an endless dripping.

14 A house and wealth are inherited from fathers,
but a sensible wife is from the LORD.

15 Laziness induces deep sleep,
and a lazy person will go hungry.

16 The one who keeps commands preserves himself;
one who disregards[d] his ways will die.

17 Kindness to the poor is a loan to the LORD,
and He will give a reward to the lender.[e]

18 Discipline your son while there is hope;
don’t be intent on killing him.[f]

19 A person with great anger bears the penalty;
if you rescue him, you’ll have to do it again.

20 Listen to counsel and receive instruction
so that you may be wise later in life.

21 Many plans are in a man’s heart,
but the LORD’s PLAN will win.

22 What is desirable in a man is his fidelity;
better to be a poor man than a liar.

23 The reverential fear of the LORD leads to life;
one will sleep at night without danger.

24 The slacker buries his hand in the bowl;
he doesn’t even bring it back to his mouth."

Proverbs 1
1 The Proverbs of Solomon son of David, King of Israel: 2 for gaining Wisdom and instruction;
for understanding words of insight;
3 for receiving instruction in prudent behavior,
doing what is right and just and fair;
4 for giving prudence to those who are simple,
knowledge and discretion to the young—

5 let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance—
6 for understanding proverbs and parables,
the sayings and riddles of the wise.

7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

8Listen, My Son, to your father’s instruction
and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
9 They are a garland to grace your head
and a chain to adorn your neck.
10 My Son, if sinful men entice you,
do not give in to them.

11 If they say, “Come along with us;
let’s lie in wait for innocent blood,
let’s ambush some harmless soul;
12 let’s swallow them alive, like the grave,
and whole, like those who go down to the pit;
13 we will get all sorts of valuable things
and fill our houses with plunder;
14 cast lots with us;
we will all share the loot”—
15 My Son, do not go along with them,
do not set foot on their paths;
16 for their feet rush into evil,
they are swift to shed blood.
17 How useless to spread a net
where every bird can see it!
18 These men lie in wait for their own blood;
they ambush only themselves!
19 Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain;
it takes away the life of those who get it.

20 Out in the open "Wisdom" calls aloud,
She raises Her Voice in the public square;
21 on top of the wall She cries out,
at the city gate She makes Her speech:
22 “How long will you who are simple love your simple ways?
How long will mockers delight in mockery
and fools hate knowledge?
23
Repent at My rebuke!
Then I will pour out My thoughts to you,
I will make known to you My teachings.
24 But since you refuse to listen when I call
and no one pays attention when I stretch out My Hand,
25 since you disregard all My advice
and do not accept My rebuke,
26 I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you;
I will mock when calamity overtakes you—

27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you
.
28 “Then they will call to Me, but I will not answer;
they will look for Me but will not find Me
,
29 since they hated knowledge
and did not choose to fear the LORD.

30 Since they would not accept My advice
and spurned My rebuke,
31 they will eat the fruit of their ways
and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.

32 Because the waywardness of the simple will kill them,

and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33 but whoever listens to Me will live in safety
and be at ease, without fear of harm.”

King; through LOYALTY, you maintains your THRONE.

"TRUST IN the LORD with ALL your heart, and do not rely on your OWN understanding;

"Think about HIM in all your ways, and HE will GUIDE you on the RIGHT paths.

"Don’t THINK yourself to be wise; fear the LORD and turn away from evil.

This will be HEALING for your body and STRENGTHENING for your bones.

HONOR the LORD with your possessions and with the FIRST produce of your entire harvest;

then your barns will be completely FILLED, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

Do NOT despise the LORD’s INSTRUCTION, my son, and do not HATE His discipline;

because the LORD disciplines the one He LOVES, just as a father, the son, HE ENJOYS."

1 Better the poor whose walk is blameless
than a fool whose lips are perverse.

yet their heart rages against the LORD.

4 Wealth attracts many friends,
but even the closest friend of the poor person deserts them.

5 A false witness will not go unpunished,
and whoever pours out lies will not go free.

6 Many curry favor with a ruler,
and everyone is the friend of one who gives gifts.

7 The poor are shunned by all their relatives—
how much more do their friends avoid them!

Though the poor pursue them with pleading,
they are nowhere to be found.

8 The one who gets WISDOM loves LIFE;
the one who cherishes UNDERSTANDING will soonPROSPER.

9 A false witness will not go unpunished,
and whoever pours out lies will perish.

10 It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury—
how much worse for a slave to rule over princes!

11 A person’s WISDOM yields PATIENCE;
it is to one’s GLORY to overlook an offense.

25 Strike a MOCKER, and the inexperienced LEARN a lesson; rebuke the DISCERNING, and he gains KNOWLEDGE.

26 The one who assaults his father and evicts his mother is a disgraceful and shameful son.

27 If you stop LISTENING to correction, my son, you will STRAY from the words of KNOWLEDGE.

28 A WORTHLESS witness mocks justice,
and a wicked mouth swallows iniquity.

29 JUDGMENTS are prepared for MOCKERS, and BEATINGS for the backs of FOOLS.

Proverbs 24:1-23 New Living Translation (NLT)

"Don’t envy EVIL people or desire their company because their hearts plot VIOLENCE, and their words always stir up TROUBLE.

"A house is built by WISDOM and becomes STRONG through Good Sense.

"Through KNOWLEDGE, its rooms are filled with all sorts of precious riches and valuables.

"The WISE are MIGHTIER than the strong, and those with KNOWLEDGE grow STRONGER AND STRONGER.

"So don’t go to war without WISE guidance; VICTORY depends on having many advisers.

"WISDOM is too lofty for FOOLS. Among leaders at the city gate, they have nothing to say.

"A person who PLANS EVIL will get a reputation as a troublemaker.

"The schemes of a FOOL ARE SINFUL; everyone detests a mocker.

" If you fail under pressure, your STRENGTH is too small.

"Rescue those who are UNJUSTLY sentenced to die; SAVE them as they stagger to their death.

"Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know" .. because God understands all hearts, and He SEES you. He who GUARDS your SOUL KNOWS THAT YOU KNEW

"HE WILL REPAY ALL PEOPLE AS THEIR ACTIONS DESERVE.

"My child, eat honey, for it is GOOD,
and the honeycomb is SWEET to the taste.

"In the same way, WISDOM is SWEET to your SOUL. If you FIND it, you will have A BRIGHT FUTURE, and your HOPES will not be cut short.

"Don’t wait in AMBUSH at the home of the Godly, and don’t raid the house where the Godly live.

"The Godly may trip seven times, but they will GET UP AGAIN. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the WICKED.

"Don’t rejoice when your ENEMIES fall; don’t be happy when they stumble because the LORD will be displeased with you, and will turn His anger away from them.

"Don’t fret because of EVILDOERS; don’t envy the WICKED because EVIL people have NO FUTURE; the light of the WICKED will be snuffed out.

"My child, FEAR the LORD and the KING. Don’t associate with REBELS because DISASTER will hit them SUDDENLY.

"Who knows what PUNISHMENT will come from the LORD and the King?

Proverbs 23:9-21

"Do NOT talk directly to a FOOL,
because he will DESPISE the WISDOM of your words.

"Do not move an ancient boundary marker or enter fields that belong to ORPHANS because The One Who is responsible for them is STRONG.
He will PLEAD their case AGAINST you.
Learning From Your Father

Live a more disciplined life,
and listen carefully to words of KNOWLEDGE.

Do not hesitate to discipline a child.
If you spank him, he will not die.
Spank him yourself,and you will save his SOUL from hell.

My son,
if you have a WISE heart, My heart will rejoice as well.
My heart rejoices when YOU speak what is RIGHT.

Do not envy SINNERS in your heart.
Instead, continue to FEAR THE LORD.
"There is indeed a FUTURE,
and your HOPE will never be cut off.

My son,
listen, be WISE,
and keep your MIND going in the RIGHT direction.

Do NOT associate with those who drink TOO MUCH wine, or with those who eat TOO MUCH meat,
because both a DRUNK and a GLUTTON will become poor.
Drowsiness will dress a person in rags."

mere PIECE of bread.

"GREEDY people try to get rich quick but don’t realize they’re headed
for POVERTY.

"In the end, people appreciate HONEST criticism far more than FLATTERY.

"Anyone who steals from his father and mother
and says, “What’s wrong with that?”
is no better than a MURDERER.

"GREED causes fighting;
TRUSTING THE LORD LEADS TO PROSPERITY.

"You who trust your OWN INSIGHT ARE FOOLISH,
but ANYONE WHO WALKS IN WISDOM IS SAFE.

"If YOU GIVE TO THE POOR, YOU WILL LACK NOTHING,
but you who CLOSE your eyes to POVERTY will be CURSED.

"When the WICKED take charge, people go into HIDING.
When the WICKED MEET DISASTER, the GODLY FLOURISH."

Proverbs 14

New Living Translation (NLT)

1 A WISE WOMAN BUILDS HER HOME,
but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.

2 THOSE WHO FOLLOW THE RIGHT PATH FEAR THE LORD;
those who take the wrong path despise him.

3 A fool’s proud talk becomes a rod that beats him,
BUT THE WORDS OF THE WISE KEEPS THEM SAFE.

4 Without oxen a stable stays clean,
but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.

5 AN HONEST WITNESS DOES NOT LIE;
a false witness breathes lies.

6 A mocker seeks wisdom and never finds it,
BUT KNOWLEDGE COMES EASILY TO THOSE WITH UNDERSTANDING.

7 STAY AWAY FROM FOOLS,
because you won’t find knowledge on their lips.

8 THE WISE UNDERSTAND WHERE THEY ARE GOING,
but fools deceive themselves.

9 Fools make fun of guilt,
BUT THE GODLY ACKNOWLEDGE IT AND SEEK RECONCILIATION.

10 Each heart knows its own bitterness,
and no one else can fully share its joy.

11 The house of the wicked will be destroyed,
BUT THE HOUSE OF THE GODLY WILL PROSPER.

12 There is a path before each person that SEEMS right,
but it ends in DEATH.

13 LAUGHTER CAN CONCEAL A HEAVY HEART,
but when the laughter ends, the grief remains.

14 Backsliders get what they deserve;
GOOD PEOPLE RECEIVE THEIR REWARD.

15 Only simpletons believe everything they’re told!
THE WISE CAREFULLY CONSIDER THEIR STEPS.

16 THE WISE ARE CAUTIOUS AND AVOID DANGER;
fools plunge ahead with reckless confidence.

17 Short-tempered people do foolish things,
and schemers are hated.

PROVERBS 15:1-21

1 A GENTLE answer deflects anger,
but harsh words make tempers flare.

2 The tongue of the WISE makes knowledge appealing,
but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness.

3 THE LORD IS WATCHING EVERYWHERE,
keeping His eye on both the evil and the good.

4 GENTLE WORDS are a tree of life;
a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

5 Only a fool despises a parent’s DISCIPLINE;
whoever learns from correction is WISE.

6 There is treasure in the house of the GODLY,
but the earnings of the wicked bring trouble.

7 The lips of the wise give good advice;
the heart of a fool has none to give.

8 The Lord detests the sacrifice of the wicked,
but He delights in the prayers of the upright.

9 The Lord detests the way of the wicked,
but He loves those who pursue godliness.

10 Whoever abandons the RIGHT PATH will be severely disciplined;
whoever HATES correction will die.

11 Even Death and Destruction hold no secrets from the Lord.
How much more does He know the human heart!

12 Mockers hate to be corrected,
so they stay away from the WISE.

13 A HAPPY heart makes a HAPPY face;
a broken heart crushes the spirit.

14 A WISE person is hungry for knowledge,
while the fool feeds on trash.

15 For the despondent, every day brings trouble;
but for the HAPPY HEART, life is a continual FEAST.

16 Better to have little with fear for the Lord,
than to have great treasure and inner turmoil.

17 A bowl of vegetables with someone you love
is better than steak with someone you hate.

18 A hot-tempered person starts fights;
a cool-tempered person stops them.

19 A lazy person’s way is blocked with briers,
but the path of the Upright is an open highway.

20 Sensible children bring JOY to their father;
foolish children despise their mother.

21 Foolishness brings joy to those with no sense;
a sensible person stays on the RIGHT path.

PROVERBS 21:16-31

16 THE PERSON WHO STRAYS FROM COMMON SENSE
will end up in the company of the DEAD.

17 THOSE WHO LOVE PLEASURE BECOME POOR;
those who love wine and luxury will NEVER be rich.

18 THE WICKED ARE PUNISHED IN PLACE OF THE GODLY,
and traitors in place of the HONEST.

19 IT'S BETTER TO LIVE ALONR IN THE DESERT
than with a quarrelsome, complaining wife.

20 THE WISE HAVE WEALTH AND LUXURY,
but fools spend whatever they get.

21 WHOEVER PURSUES RIGHTEOUSNESS AND UNFAILING LOVE
WILL FIND LIFE, RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HONOR
.

22 THE WISE CONQUER THE CITY OF THE STRONG
and level the fortress in which they trust.

23 WATCH YOUR TONGUE AND KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT,
and you will stay out of trouble.

24 MOCKERS ARE PROUD AND HAUGHTY;
they act with boundless ARROGANCE.

25 DESPITE THEIR DESIRES, THE LAZY WILL COME TO RUIN,
because their hands refuse to work.

26 Some people are always greedy for more,
BUT THE GODLY LOVE TO GIVE!

27 The SACRIFICE OF AN EVIL PERSON IS DETESTABLE,
especially when it is offered with WRONG motives.

28 A false witness will be cut off,
BUT A CREDIBLE WITNESS WILL BE ALLOWED TO SPEAK.

29 The wicked bluff their way through,
BUT THE VIRTUOUS THINK BEFORE THEY ACT.

30 NO HUMAN WISDOM OR UNDERSTANDING OR PLAN
CAN STAND AGAINST THE LORD.

31 The horse is prepared for the day of battle,
BUT THE VICTORY BELONGS TO THE LORD!

Proverbs 28:1-18 - New International Version (NIV)

1 The WICKED flee though no one pursues,
BUT THE RIGHTEOUS ARE AS 'BOLD AS A LION.'

2 When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers,
[BUT A RULER WITH DISCRENMENT AND KNOWLEDGE MAINTAINS ORDER.

3 A ruler who OPPRESSES THE POOR is like a driving rain that leaves no crops.

4 Those who forsake instruction praise the WICKED,
BUT THOSE WHO HEED IT, RESIST THE WICKED.

5 Evildoers do not understand what is right,
BUT THOSE WHO SEEK THE LORD, UNDERSTAND IT FULLY.

6 Better the poor whose walk is BLAMELESS
THAN THE RICH WHOSE WAYS ARE PERVERSE.

7 A discerning son heeds instruction,
but a companion of GLUTTONS disgraces his Father.

8 Whoever increases wealth by taking interest or profit from the poor
amasses it for another, who will be kind to the poor.

9 If ANYONE turns a deaf ear to My Instruction,
even their prayers are detestable.

10 Whoever leads the upright along an evil path will FALL into their OWN TRAP,
BUT THE BLAMELESS WILL RECEIVE GOOD INHERITANCE.

11 The Rich are wise in their OWN eyes;
one who is poor and discerning SEES HOW DELUDED THEY ARE.

12 When the righteous triumph, there is great elation;
but when the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding.

13 Whoever conceals their SINS does not prosper,
BUT THE ONE WHO CONFESSES AND RENOUNCES THEMN, FINDS MERCY.

14 BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO ALWAYS TREMBLES BEFORE GOD,
but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.

15 Like a roaring lion or a charging bear
is a wicked ruler over a helpless people.

16 A tyrannical ruler practices extortion,
BUT ONE WHO HATES ILL-GOTTEN GAIN WILL ENJOY A LONG REIGN.

17 Anyone tormented by the guilt of murder
will seek refuge in the grave;
let no one hold them back.

18 THE ONE WHOSE WALK IS BLAMELESS IS KEPT SAFE
,
but the one whose ways are perverse will fall into the pit.

This prayer was given to Moses by god and it was to be a blessing to the people of God

Num 6:22-27
22 Adonai said to Moshe, 23 “Speak to Aharon and his sons, and tell them that this is how you are to bless the people of Isra’el: you are to say to them,
24 ‘Y’varekh’kha Adonai v’yishmerekha.
[May Adonai bless you and keep you.]
25 Ya’er Adonai panav eleikha vichunekka.
[May Adonai make his face shine on you and show you his favor.]
26 Yissa Adonai panav eleikha v’yasem l’kha shalom.
[May Adonai lift up his face toward you and give you peace.]’
27 “In this way they are to put my name on the people of Isra’el, so that I will bless them.”

Psalm 119 New International Version

1 HAPPY are YOU whose ways are BLAMELESS,
who WALK according to the WORD OF THE LORD.

2 HAPPY are YOU who KEEP HIS WORD
and S-E-E-K HIM WITH ALL your heart —
3 they do no wrong,
but FOLLOW HIS WAYS.

4 You have laid down YOUR WORD
so that THEY are to be fully OBEYED.

5 Oh! I pray that my ways were steadfast
in OBEYING YOUR WORD!
6 Then I would not be put to shame
when I CONSIDER ALL OF YOUR WORD!

7 I WILL PRAISE YOU with a RIGHT HEART
as I learn YOUR RIGHTEOUS WORD.

8 I WILL OBEY YOUR WORD;
do not utterly forsake me.

9 How can a young person stay on the path of PURITY?
By living according to YOUR WORD.

10 I seek you with ALL my heart;
do not let me stray from YOUR WORD.

11 I have hidden YOUR WORD in my heart
so that I might NOT sin against YOU.

12 PRAISE BE TO YOU, LORD!
teach me YOUR WORD.
13 With my lips I recount
all the WORDS that come from YOUR MOUTH.

14 I rejoice in FOLLOWING YOUR WORD
as one who ENJOYS GREAT RICHES!

15 I MEDIATE ON YOUR WORD
and CONSIDER YOUR WAYS!

16 I DELIGHT IN YOUR WORD;
I WILL NOT NEGLECT YOUR WORD!

Judging Sin, LaShon Hara,

and Accountability

Speaking of the Kingdom of GOD, Messiah Yeshua said, "The field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one" (Matthew 13:38).

Our GOD allows wheat and tares (a type of weed) to grow together (Matthew 13:30). In many ways the two look alike, but there is a way that we can tell them apart: Tares will be more colorful and will stand taller than the wheat. We might even say that "tares are better looking than is the lowly wheat." Wheat is distinguished by the fact that it will bend and bow and move with the wind. However, a tare will break before it will bows. At harvest time, the tall and proud tares are pulled up and thrown into the fire - and the wheat is harvested.

If a person does not bow the knee before the Messiah and truly revere Him, even fear tarnishing His good name - if they do not move in the wind of truth of His Holy Spirit, they are probably a tare and not wheat. If they want to stand tall and be more colorful than their lowly wheat neighbors, they may well be a tare.

We serve a GOD who has sworn, "I will leave among you a humble and lowly people, and they will take refuge in the name of the LORD. The remnant of Israel will do no wrong and tell no lies, nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouths" (Zephaniah 3:11-12).

In YHVH's economy, judgment begins "with the household of God" (1 Peter 4:17). We serve a GOD who exposes sin. King David is called His "beloved," yet, thousands of years after the fact, based on a Book that was authored by the Almighty, people are still hearing of the sins of Beloved King David. What, oh what, then, makes us so foolish as to think that our sins will not be similarly exposed? When we sin against YHVH, we can rest assured that our sin will "find us out" (Numbers 32:23).

When we sin and repent, we need to show forth the fruit of repentance and be restored (Luke 3:8). When we openly sin and shame the Body of Messiah, we need to be called to account. Joseph "forgave" the sin of his brothers, but he also spoke openly of their transgressions against him (Genesis 50:20). We must always separate the sin from the sinner, forgive the transgressors and seek their restoration, but, like Joseph, we also need to call sin, "sin."

When people continue in their sin after repeated warnings, we are supposed to "take special note of that person and not associate with him, so that he will be put to shame" (2 Thessalonians 3:14; Titus 3:10). Nonetheless, many do not properly judge sin due to wrong teachings about "not judging" others. To understand this truth, we need to see the verse in context. We especially need to connect it with its following verse, and we need to balance it with the rest of Scripture.

Messiah Yeshua said, "Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your

own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye" (Matthew 7:1-5).

[2]

Viewed in context, we see that Yeshua is addressing the hypocritical judgment of brethren; He is speaking against people having a condemning spirit, against attacking brethren for small faults while we have even greater ones. He is warning people against this because, there is an automatic reaction that travels with judging our brothers.

The "judge not..." verse is followed by a "conjunction statement." The sentence that follows it begins with the word "for," or with the Greek word, gár (Strong's#G 1063). In other words, the first verse is an "A" statement that is followed by a connected "B" statement. The verses need to be viewed as a unit. Yeshua is warning that doing "A" will lead to "B." The A-B unit is, when we judge a person, it automatically sets in motion a standard of measure by which we will one day be measured. If we use a measure of judgment, that same measure will later be used on us.

To avoid encountering this reactive measure, many people mistakenly conclude that they will not judge anything - so that they, in turn, will not suffer any form of judgment. The problem with this flawed reasoning is that, not judging is a form of judgment.

When we refuse to judge anything, we are in essence saying, anything goes. When "anything goes" among Believers, even the heathen will judge us to be lawless. The Word warns us that, "Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves" (Romans 14:22). We do not want to be hasty or condescending in our judgments of others - but we also do not want to appear to be someone who "approves" of sin based on our refusal to judge it. In the end, we will not be "happy" if we do this.

We cannot judge the eternal destiny of a brother. Only the Father can disinherit a son. However, we are supposed to judge the fruit of our brethren. Yeshua warned us to "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves." How do we know enough to beware false prophets? Yeshua said we will "know them by their fruits." He also said that one day, He will throw the trees that bear bad fruit into the fire (Matthew 7:15-20).

For our own spiritual well-being, we must judge the fruit of others, and, leaders sometimes need to warn others. When someone is in a position wherein others look to them for guidance, they have an obligation to speak the truth: "Shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock" (1 Peter 5:2-3). Leaders must care for the sheep and not leave them to defend themselves against ravenous wolves.

If we judge in a rash, unjust, or unloving manner, we will only add to the problem and surely be dealt with accordingly. On the other hand, if we go too far in a mistaken understanding of "not judging" the fruit of fellow Believers, we make ourselves look like unaccountable fools to the outside world. We refuse to judge sin when it raises its ugly head in our camps, and consequently, the world ends up being our judge. We become a laughing stock. The true Gospel is then mocked and maligned and we bring shame to the Name of our GOD.

When the people of Corinth were having problems with sin in their camp, Paul said to them, "If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints? Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?" (1 Corinthians 6:1-3).

Believers are supposed to judge matters in this life!

[3]
Ironically, we often feel free to pass judgments on those who are in the world, but are afraid to say anything about the bad fruit of those who claim to belong to the Messiah. Yet, Paul said, " What have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church/congregation?" (1 Corinthians 5:12). The world is already condemned. We are supposed to be a light to them, a ray of hope. But, if they see the continuing darkness of worldly sin in our congregations, our lights will appear to be dim, indeed. Thus we must judge sin in our congregations.Everyone sins and falls short of the glory of GOD (Romans 3:23). If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us (1 John 1:8). If we are merciless with others, judgment without mercy will be shown to us. Mercy triumphs over judgment (James 2:13). Therefore, judgment by brethren should be reserved for "continual sins."

In Christian circles continuing sin is often overlooked due to bad teachings that lead people to believe in the idea that they are to "judge not..." This mistaken conclusion has caused many to accuse Christians of thinking that they can "slide into Heaven on greasy grace." In the Hebrew Roots and Messianic movements, this harlotrous teaching wears a different dress. Its designer label is "LaShon Hara," meaning "The Evil Tongue."

It is true that we are not to speak "evil" of our leaders (Acts 23:5). James warns us not to "slander" a brother (James 4:11). 1 Chronicles 16:22 says, "Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm." We are told "to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people" (Titus 3:2). However, like the "judge not" mistake, these verses, too, can be misconstrued....

Truth is neither "evil" nor "slanderous." Truth sets people free. Our faith grows strong in it (John 8:32; Colossians 2:7). Zechariah 8:16 tells us, "These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates." Evil and slanderous speech consists of lies. If speaking the truth about someone were evil, then our GOD would be guilty of that sin, over, and over, and over again. He is not guilty, and it is not wrong to speak the truth in a matter. That is the only way we will ever have peace in our gates.

Yet, this truth, too, needs to be measured against heart intent. If we are telling the "truth" about someone because we want to harm their reputation, the fact that we spoke "truth" will not erase the sin of malice that lies in our heart. When we speak the truth, it must be spoken with perfect courtesy and regard for the one(s) involved: "Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Messiah (Ephesians 4:15).

"The BLESSING OF THE LORD BRINGS WEALTH!
without painful toil for it.

"A fool finds pleasure in wicked schemes,
BUT A PERSON OF UNDERSTANDING DELIGHTS IN WISDOM!

"What the wicked dread WILL OVERTAKE them;
WHAT THE RIGHTEOUS DESIRES WILL BE GRANTED!

"When the STORM has swept by, the wicked are gone,
BUT THE RIGHTEOUS STAND FIRM FOREVER!

"As VINGGAR to the teeth and SMOKE to the eyes,
so are sluggards to THOSE WHO SEND THEM.

"THE FEAR OF THE LORD ADDS LENGTH TO LIFE!
but the years of the WICKED are cut short.

"THE PROSPECT OF THE RIGHTEOUS IS JOY!
but the hopes of the WICKED come to nothing.

"THE WAY OF THE LORD IS A REFUGE FOR THE BLAMELESS!
but it is the ruin of those who DO EVIL.

"THE RIGHTEOUS WILL NEVER BE ROOTED UP!
but the wicked WILL NOT remain in the land.

"FROM THE MOUTH OF THE RIGHTEOUS COMES THE FRUIT OF WISDOM!
but a PERVERSE TONGUE will be SILENCED.

"THE LIPS OF THE RIGHTEOUS SPEAKS FAVOR!
but the mouth of the WICKED only what is PERVERSE. PROVERBS 10:22-32

"The dangers ofbeing seduced by false Doctrine"

Read Revelation 2:18-29 and you will see that Christ himselfwarned the church against the doctrine of Jezebel. "You permit that womanJezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce my servants tocommit fornication, and to eat the things sacrificed unto idols" OT:2403

chatta'ah (khat-taw-aw'); or chatta'th (khat-tawth'); from OT:2398; anoffence (sometimes habitual sinfulness), and its penalty, occasion, sacrifice,or expiation; also (concretely) an offender:

The word of God tells us notonly of past events, but also of future, and of the corruption past andpresent. To understand the deceit that is in some of today's churches we mustfirst understand the deceit of the past. The truth of the ways of the Lord hasnot changed, nor will they change. What was unacceptable then is unacceptabletoday. In John 14:15 The word says;

If you love me, keep myCommandments. That means all of them, not what you desire to choose to obey.The word tells us of false teachers and prophets, as in

[2Peter 1:1-3] But among thepeople there were also false prophets, just as there will be false teachersamong you. Under false pretenses they will introduce destructive heresies, evendenying the master who bought them, and thus bring on themselves a swiftdestruction

.Many will follow their debaucheries; and because of them, the true waywill be maligned. In their greed they will exploit you with fabricated stories.

The word heresies [Hah'-ee-res-is]means properly a choice, a party or disunion. The root word[Hahee-reh'-om-ahee] means to take for ones self to prefer. This means thatwhen a Pastor or teacher uses the word of God out of its context he or she iscommitting heresy against the Lord. This is very serious for the word says inverse 3 their punishment, decreed long ago, is not idle; their destruction isnot asleep! These men who stand at the pulpits and lie for gains [money] ofself have in fact sealed their fate.

In [2 Timothy 4:3] we are told;For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching,but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who saywhatever their ears itch to hear. Yes, they will stop listening to the truth,but will turn aside to follow myths.

When a man stands at a pulpitand tells you God has sent me [I represent the Lord] and he lies to you, eventhe smallest lie he has committed heresy in the eyes of God.

[Isa. 59: 2-3]Rather, it is your own crimes that separate you from yourGod; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he doesn't hear. For yourhands are stained with blood and your fingers with crime; your lips speak lies,your tongues utter wicked things.

These men devise means to testyour loyalty and use lies to suck you in to their wickedness. They no longerhear from the Holy Spirit to guide them so they must count on there on devicesand scheme's. These false prophets, pastors and teachers have lost the fear ofthe Lord.

[Proverbs 16:5-6] The Lorddetests all those with proud hearts; be assured that they will not gounpunished. Grace and truth atone for iniquity, and people turn from evilthrough fear of The Lord

TheSeduction of God's servants

There are multitudes of pastors,teachers and evangelists completely under the seductive spell of the Jezebeldoctrine. These seduced teachers are in turn producing "children ofseduction". They teach fornication. This is eating the demonic food ofdoctrines that excuse sin.

I want to say, in no uncertainterms, that it is dangerous to sit under the wrong teaching. False doctrine candamn you more readily than all the lust and sins of the flesh. False preachersand teachers are sending more people to hell than all the drug pushers, pimpsand prostitutes combined. That is not an overstatement, I believe it Multitudesof blind, and misled Christians are singing and praising the Lord in churchesenslaved by false doctrine. Thousands are sitting under teachers who arepouring out the doctrine of demons and at the in of service they leave saying,"wasn't that wonderful"?

Christ does not take this matterlightly. His eyes are again piercing the church, and he has come to warn, toexpose and to save his people and his servants from this terrible seduction. Wehad better get serious about it. It is serious where you go to church. It isserious whom you are listening to. It is serious, the teaching that has yourheart. Those that really love the truth will not be satisfied to remain likethose, who willingly are ignorant. They will study in order to search out thetruth and then respond.

In 2nd Timothy 2:15 we read; Doall you can to present yourself to God as someone worthy of his approval, as aworker with no need to be ashamed, because he deals straightforwardly with theword of truth. You have a responsibility to learn the word and you cannotafford to allow others to make this decision for you, your eternal life is atstake.

Job 11:12 put it this way; Anempty man can gain understanding, even if he was born like a wild donkey. Verse13, If you will set your heart right, if you will spread out your hands towardhim, [14] If you will put your iniquity at a distance. What the word is saying,you don't have to be a rocket scientist to learn the ways of God. The book ofJob goes on to say; and not let unrighteousness remain in your tents, then whenyou lift up your face, there will be no defect; youwill be firm and free from fear.

This friends is the Bride of Christ, without blemish [defect] andstrong in the word of the Lord. To get to be called the bride, first seek thetruth and get away from false teachings. If you really want to be blessed bythe Lord pray for the pastors and people who seem to be sucked into and stuckin false teachings.

Job 42:10, WhenJob prayed for his friends, God restored his fortunes; God gave Job twice asmuch as he had had before.

Don't be one who prays toreceive blessings, but do it because it's the love of God in you, which promptsyou. I want to sum up this article with scripture’s that will surly confirmwhat I have written to you.

2 Peter 3:15-18

15 and account that the longsuffering of our Lord issalvation--as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given tohim, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them ofthese things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught andunstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of theScriptures.

17 You therefore,beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from yourown steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18 but grow inthe grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be theglory both now and forever. Amen.

The key scripture is; whichuntaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do alsothe rest of the Scriptures.

PROVERBS 14:

5 "An HONEST WITNESS tells the TRUTH, but a disHONEST one tells 'NOTHING BUT LIES.'

6 "CONCEITED people can NEVER become WISE, but intelligent people learn easily.

7 "Stay AWAY from FOOLISH people; they have NOTHING to teach you.

8 Why is a clever person wise? Because he knows what to do. Why is a STUPID person FOOLISH? Because he ONLY THINKS he KNOWS!

9 "FOOLISH people DON'T CARE IF THEY SIN, but good people WANT to be FORGIVEN.

10 "Your joy is your own; your BITTERNESS is your own. No one can share them WITH you.

11 "A good person's house will still be standing after an EVILDOER'S house has been DESTROYED.

12 "What YOU THINK is the right road, may lead to DEATH!"
