I know I'm not the only person in the world who's gotten way too intoxicated and made some mistakes, but I am feeling so ashamed of myself right now.
I am so embarrassed and would actually be okay with fading into obscurity.

I was told that I got angry, and put my hands on my friend. I don't remember ...a thing. I do not condone violence, and believe that every person should keep their hands to themselves -- man or woman. I am completely mortified, and taking a pause to understand why I felt it necessary to get that intoxicated. I have apologized and took ownership of my actions already, but the feelings of shame, guilt, and embarrassment are so intense right now. I have decided to live a sober life as this has completely opened my eyes.

Any tips on how to move through this?

Move thru what? You apologized, don’t get drunk anymore. It’s not that complicated, unless you want it to be
