Nah I think the man in OP just happened to catch it on a slow day.

And lol
at yall saying the fight deterred people.

Did people even really stop going to the Disney Parks when folks was out there catching deadly diseases and what not?

If the possibility of you or your children catching a serious infectious disease doesn't deter people

then one fight won't either

I like going while school is still in session. There are still kids and crowds, but not nearly as many as during the summer. We always try to go in the fall. Halloween day it is always full of kids, but the other days before and after don't have as many because they're in school, unless it's the weekend.
Do they still have Halloween themed food and stuff before and after Halloween. I was think of going on the week before or after Halloween

For real! Their season pass is less than half the price of Disneyland.

Plus I love Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird more than Mickey Mouse any damn way.
Real ass rides, less people, when people fight at least they're famous a la Blac Chyna lol. You can leave drive down the hill & eat or have food delivered & meet them to get your food at the gate. Plus that new metropolis ride issa bop! Idgaf Gold Rush is a classic! They have a fake snow day. Hurricane harbor is included like lol yall hoes can go home. Disney can keep that 2k / year with blackouts pass to drive out to neo nazi Anaheim.

I know adults that go freakishly often due to getting yearly passes.

Disney will make it right. They will lower the price for locals. Get it popping and then bam -- back to getting bank.

They do this at least once a year for residents. We just have to bring a bill... Actually I don't know what the exact process is anymore because I'm old :p

Domestic abuse isn't funny but damn. He gave everyone a two piece and a side. Jesus I see why people took so long to step in. They didn't want to be next.

Never got the fascination with this place.

I also think adults that go here for “fun” are weird AF

The airlines like to hire people from Disney and it’s disconcerting. They are socially inept.

I don't see how anyone can laugh at this video. That big ass punk n!cca strictly beating up two women. Two black women and y'all laughing. Nothing funny about this at all. Absolutely disgusting and I hope his big dumb ass was hit with 2 charges of assault.

That and the lack of security must have opened people's eyes about those overpriced parks.

I know I would think twice about going there now, that place gives one a false sense of security when in reality it was shown you are on your own out there.

Don't they ask for fingerprints now? I can't remember where I saw that but that was enough for me to stay away.

We are planning for a big family trip to Disney World for 10 days

Staying at the Contemporary Resort

I pray it's not going to be packed and I've mapped out where I want to take the family for restaurants that are kid friendly.

Disney is becoming over commercialized. They can't just keep making remakes forever and pricing people out of their parks.
It’s so overrated.

Now grant it, I’ve only been to Disney World and not Disney Land. And I only went twice (as recently as last December), but each time I was unimpressed.

Perhaps when I have children and take them, it may be a more memorable experience.

Is this only a thing at Disneyland?

I'm on the East Coast and I know quite a few people who go to Disney World at least once or twice a year.

i'm on the West and same thing know people who go once or twice a year. I think it's normally still pretty busy.

I really want to go to DisneyWorld. I didn't realize it was so big. DisneyLand was actually fun to me, but I felt I had seen the whole thing after about 6 or 7 hours.

Also, I agree with the fonts saying that Universal Studios is more fun. I was actually surprised by how much I liked Universal when I first went. I was expecting it to be boring since so many of the rides are simulated, but they are FUN as hell especially the Transformers, Mummy, and Simpsons rides. Halloween Horror Nights is also a lot of fun. I'm usually more of a rollercoaster gal but those simulated rides are awesome.

Starting in August until the end of October they do the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party that I try to go to as often as I can in Walt Disney World/Magic Kingdom. I'm planning to go to MNSSHP this year, and YES it's AMAZING. They have Halloween decorations throughout the parks, all kinds of special Halloween treats, and they really go the extra mile with the theming. That's my favorite time to go to WDW because the Epcot Food and Wine Fest is also going on around Halloween, and it's just a great time to be at the parks.

They do the Halloween Party in Disneyland, too, as far as I know, although I've never been to it. They also do something similar in Disneyland Paris, which is where I was going every year for Halloween when I lived in Europe. I like the one in the Magic Kingdom better, but the last party I went to in DP was soooooo much fun.

I'd never go. No interest at all seems like a big money drain.
It's a time drain too. I went and had free tickets (the only reason why I went) but we spent a majority of the day waiting in long ass lines and way less time actually riding rides. If the tickets weren't free, I would have been pretty mad. My daughter was four at the time and she seemed pretty happy but got really tired of being out in the sun just waiting around. The food is totally overpriced too.

I turned down an expenses paid trip to DL, I saw no reason to go. They were surprised I turned it down. For me it's a place I know what it's about without going and wasting time.

Universal (Florida) is def better than DW, in my personal opinion. I liked the Spider-Man interactive ride, and the King Kong ride I don’t know why but the feeling of warmth when stuff was “burning” was exciting lol and the water splashes lol!

one day is nothing. there will slow days, even a slow week. ring the alarm when they are having a slow month.

seems the focus is on Disney World. They are constructing like crazy to keep up with Harry Potter. revamped Jurassic World is right around the corner. this next decade is going to be insane for the east coast.
There’s also Nintendo who’s creating their own parks which apparently has Disney nervous

I LOVE DW. We were just there in June. I try to convince my daughter to go every year for our vacation. I wish I lived closer or I'd go weekly. Expensive but I LOVE it!

I was just there a few weeks ago and it was packed! The new Star Wars ride is open now. Maybe he was there when they first opened in the morning before the crowds. IDK!

I think I'm in the minority [in this thread, at least] that does not prefer Universal Studios over Walt Disney World.

Maybe it comes from going so much as a kid and developing a childhood obsession with it, but it just has that whole magical, immersive element that Universal Studios can't give me.

I have a history with Walt Disney World, and that's not something that I can say about Universal. WDW is just pure nostalgia to me.

When we went to Disneyland it was overpriced and crowded. The most popular rides were broken down. The food was nasty and I had to take my kids across the street to McDonald's to get something to eat because they hated the food so much.

Best food in Disneyland is the angus burger & garlic parm fries at Red Rose Tavern. Try it, it's good. Wayy better than the crap they serve in Tomorrowland.

I get free park-hopper tickets at the end of every year. I get there when the park opens and have about three good hours of enjoying myself before the "too many people" brigade shows up, which is exactly when I make my exit. DL is very much overpriced and Walt should be turning in his grave at the cost of admission.

This is the key. Get to security super early, like 7:45am, especially if it's a weekend. If you have a breakfast reservation or a Disney hotel room, you can be let in 8am during the summer. I did that last summer and was able to get a bunch of rides in before the crowds hit around 11.

It's too early to officially tell, but Star wars Galaxy Edge is not holding people's interest. There's mostly gift shops and droid/ship replicas spread throughout, with one ride that isn't worth 1hr wait. apparently the Pilot seats are the best on the ride.

The food seems hit or miss.
The show aspects of the land is lacking and it's only the atmosphere that is entertaining. The lightsaber experience is $200/per person. The cantina is very hard to get into and the Build a droid shop is $100/per person. I think they over hyped it and should have waited until Rise of the Resistance is ready.

Disney is empty because it's a passholder park, not a tourist park like Disneyworld. They'll be butt to butt once the passes open up again.

I noticed that too, they thought there would be a huge crowd after Star Wars Land opened to the public June 23 but it's basically a big bunch of places to buy overpriced souvenirs with only 1 ride. Not even a few kiddie rides for the younglings. Missed opportunity.
