Men feel superior to women in general -- when they don't it causes all kinds of problems in their little minds.

Very good question. I mean...why else do so many of them "straight" men behave like they secretly hate women so damn much? Just makes me wonder a bit.

It depends on who you are dealing with.

Not all men are trying to compete with women. Some see women as having a hell of a lot of power over them.

Yep. A lot of women enable them too via performative and callous weaponization of feminism like how some women on here say gay male fonts are the most sexist because they argue back, knowing damn well the only reason straight black male fonts don't argue back is because they relegate women's minds to that of a child and think it's 'beneath' them to entertain. What does that sound like? White paternalism, or nah? .

You also have that stupid "race before xes" ideology that assumes the two to be mutually exclusive but chile... I don't have the time. lol.

Hell yes! Being a woman is a joke to many men. Anything deemed inferior or weak is compared to acting like a pussy, or a b!tch. If a man is not good at sports his skills are compared to that of a girl.

Yes. From a young age, men are taught, consciously or unconsciously, that they are superior to women. They are taught they can do certain things better than women can (such as sports, math, and science), that they behave differently from women (I have had pregnant women tell me point blank they're grateful they're not having girls because they don't want to deal with the 'drama' they bring), and they can get away with things women can't (the 'boys will be boys' excuse).

We as a society anticipate the differences between men and women instead of seeing the similarities (we all come into this world blank slates but people act like we don't).

When some men meet a woman they perceive to be their superior, it's like their fragile egos cannot take it. Have you ever seen a dude lash out when this happens? It's like a personal insult, like 'she can be successful but how dare she be more successful than me.' So they belittle her with the tried and true methods: her looks or her xesual history.

I see this at work since I work around children and it's astounding how the boys treat the girls. Losing it because a girl is line leader... what in the absolute fµck...

this isn't exclusive to black men. Not by a long shot. Men in general think they are superior to women.
