I’ve purchased many Apple products and I have never bought AppleCare for anything. It kinda feels like a waste of money to me.

Nope.

I considered it when I got my macbook air, but I decided against it.

No. By the time, I've spent a butt load of money on one Apple Product...I have an attitude and don't want to spend another dime.

That’s probably it. I’ve never had to even use the free warranty or anything.

Regretting not getting it with my studio 3 beats. The headband broke on the right side and Apple says $200 to repair or replace them at regular pricing ($350). I bought them at Best Buy on Black Friday a year and a half ago for $150 :cry

I did my own fix job for free and the sound isn't affected but they just look pretty weird but oh well.

Damn. I feel like you could get a replacement on eBay or something.

Yes for my iPad Pro. It seems like a waste until you need a repair and they quote you some outlandish price

For our computers, not phones. Has definitely come in handy when something goes wrong. But then again, I’ve also dropped two of my iPhones and had to replace the screens. Wasn’t too expensive to have them fixed by Apple.

I'm definitely still weighing other options but after my fix it job, I'm comfortable enough at least for now to not jump on anything unless it's an absolute steal.

Absolutely it’s totally worth it. For example, my son stole my iPad Pro (newest edition) from me basically, he’s dropped in 3 times and shattered the screen and apple has given us a brand new ipad for $45 each time. Brand spanking new. Same for computer repairs when I cracked my newest edition MacBook screen, without AppleCare repairs would’ve been 3/4 the amount of the $3,000 computer but I ended up paying like $150 or something?

Yes, I’ve purchased it for every device I own. I’ve never had to use it but it’s worth the peace of mind.

I’ve bought it for my larger devices. It comes free with iPhones on the upgrade program. I was happy I had coverage last year. My puppy cracked two iPhone screens with her tiny, devil teeth.

Yes!! It's stupid not to. I just bought my first iPhone and apple watch and I got applecare+ after doing research. Spend over 2k it would be dumb not to get it!! I'm glad I didn't listen to these broke hoes out here trying to tell me not to. I always wondered why I see so many broken iPhone screens out here in these streets. It because they don't have insurance/apple care!

I've always had insurance on my phone because there is a higher probability of damaging it considering how much I use it. But I haven't had to use the insurance in years because my phone hasn't been damaged. It seems like the phones and cases are much more durable than they were in the past.

But for my computer I just wasn't going to pay $250 insurance for a $1000 computer. I'm very careful and I don't even take it out the house often. If something happens I'll just deal with it. Insurance is a scam.

I have it for my phone. It’s only $12 a month.
They have monthly plans? Didn’t know that.

I just bought a new Apple TV and at checkout they said it was a one-time additional $29 if I wanted AppleCare. But why/how would my Apple TV break? Lol

Lol I have never broken a screen. I guess I’ve been lucky because I do see a lot of broken screens and I’m always surprised people don’t have like scabs on their fingers and sh!t

Yes, she’s gadget obsessed. She loved watching videos on it and then would bite it when she got excited. Picture of my demon is attached.

IT's smart to have, especially for Macbooks because if you don't have it and anything happens to your computer, you might as well buy a new one with the repair quote they're going to give you.

Always. Do you know how expensive screen replacements are for these new phones now? $200 to 300 dollars when I could just pay $30 with insurance? I'll take Apple care.

For all of my previous iPhones, I normally used my insurance thru AT&T until I cracked my phone last year and had to actually use it. I did not like AT&T insurance policy, they sent me to a 3rd party store 'UBreakiFix' to fix my screen and although they replaced it, you can tell it was a 3rd party part because the screen stopped responding to my touch.

When I let them know that the screen was not repaired correctly they basically told me I would have to trade my iPhone in for another one and I may get a new one or it may be used. So I just suffered thru it until the iPhone 12 dropped and got AppleCare.

I’ve never had to replace a screen. Those authorized shops charge like $70 I think for a new screen.

I used to work in T2 Apple Support and I'd honestly always offer free replacement and repair codes. Some of the prices they charge are outrageous.

Yes. I always get AppleCare and I’ve used it. Less than fifty bucks for a new iPad when mine was damaged. $3.49 per month is well worth it.

I invest in top-quality cases (Speck, Otterbox) instead. I used my iPhone 6s for six years; kept it in an Otterbox ‘folio’ case. I dropped it numerous times, but never broke or even scratched the screen. It’s still in good cosmetic condition.

I've never broken any of my iphones, ipads, or macbooks but I've always had applecare for each of them because there will be days where a glitch happens that you cannot fix yourself and thats happened to me quite a few times

The only device i don't have applecare is for the apple watch and thats because i felt what's the point of this for a simple smart watch lol?
