I’ve never bought it. I’ve never had any issues with any of my Apple products and up until recently none of my computers/tablets felt essential to me. I just used them leisurely and had nothing important on them so if one broke I wouldn’t be too hurt. Now that I’m using my devices for business, I will purchase AppleCare with my next upgrades.

I got it for my iPhone that I currently have because I have butter fingers and I've cracked my screen on 1 phone and another was filled with scratched along the perimeter of the screen and I didn't wanna risk breaking my phone. Also because I tend to upgrade my phone every 2-3 years and AppleCare is for 2 years so I thought why not get protection for the time I'll have it.

I've never purchased an extended warranty on anything after discovering that extended warranties are often their main source of income I have hah multipl3 iPads with insurance through cellphone carrier. I’ve had 2 iPads no issue.

I keep disposable income though.

If I bet a Mac book I pay consider it.

I always get a square trade warranty (idk if it’s better or cheaper, force of habit my mama started).

I’ve had to replace almost every Apple device at least once and never for the screen. Usually end up having a hardware issue because I don’t upgrade sooner.

I've had it for my mobile products (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch) and my iMacs but I just got the new M1 iMAC and i'm debating on getting it. I'm not going to move it and the last 2 iMacs I had, I never had to use the AppleCare. If I had a MacBook, i'd definitely get it because you can drop it or spill water on it. But the iMac is stationary and I haven't encountered any issues so far so I will probably skip on AppleCare for it.

Only for certain devices. On my phone, not really because I know how I am with my phone so I spend money on shock resistant cases. On my laptops, not really. I only purchased one on my latest laptop was because Costco was having a discount on the laptop and the Applecare. Otherwise I would have skipped it. On my Apple Watch, I sure did and it came in handy. Dropped the watch in the bathroom floor, screen shattered. It was somewhat operational but obviously with the shattered screen, I couldn't do much. Sent it in and got a replacement and at the same time, purchased a screen protector and a different watch band. For my iPads, naw I didn't see the need.

They have monthly plans? Didn’t know that.

I just bought a new Apple TV and at checkout they said it was a one-time additional $29 if I wanted AppleCare. But why/how would my Apple TV break? Lol

For that, I would skip it since it would be stationary unless you are clumsy or hang around with clumsy people.

I’ve purchased many Apple products and I have never bought AppleCare for anything. It kinda feels like a waste of money to me.
Yes my iphone. I had to use it like twice.

typically no because i'm very good with taking care of my things. HOWEVER, i broke the screen on my macbook and it cost me $420+ WHEN IF I HAD APPLECARE IT WOULD'VE ONLY BEEN $99 FOR A NEW DAMN SCREEN. i know better now.
