Before I went to sleep last night. I was thinking about he could've literally been anyone or anyone's child who was killed over nothing. If not for who he was, many people would've viewed what occurred completely differently. I hate that we're too cowardly to take care of things like this ourselves. We had people stand up when they knew they and/or their family would be retaliated against, yet, White people, Mexicans, nor Jews give a crap about his killer and we haven't harmed a hair on his head.

Sure. His death was the main catalyst behind the "Black Lives Matter" movement. So it's hard not to think about him.

I think about him constantly. I cried for days when I heard the verdict. Every time I see his face I get weak.

I do. I am still furious on the inside that the creature who killed that little boy is still walking and breathing. People tell me to move on because it was 5 years ago but I fµck!ng won't and don't tell me to do sh!t!!

Funny how those same white people still cry over that white woman OJ killed 23 years ago. No one tells them to 'move on'!

Yeah I do think about him and his family a lot (well all of the innocent Black lives that were stolen). I know that murder sparked up a lot of truth that some of us, especially our younger generation, forgot still existed; but I do think people (especially non black people) forget that he was a kid and a human, who had a life that was brutally stolen and a bright future that he'll never get to see. The most frustrating thing to me, and I'm sure his family, is that his murderer is still free, still breathing and living, and still terrorizing the streets like the fugly thug he is, all because he was a White (Latino) Man.

Sorry I get emotional & pissed when I think about this sh!t.

I think about him all the time. Anytime I see my nephews out. My 11 year old watched a BET show I was watching and they did a highlight of his case and how poorly the protesters were treated. My child cried so hard it broke my heart.

I think of him and murdering ass Zimmerman whenever I come across one of these crusty ass white Cuban men in Florida. The rest of the country was baffled that a hispanic would have a ******* mentality but, they don't that some white Cubans here are almost indistinguishable from a white ******* in both looks and attitudes; you don't even know they're hispanic till they start speaking spanish with their family and are very racist.

Yes, especially after his brother had posted some time last year about how Trayvon would have turned 21 and how he wished he could take his younger bro out for his first drink. It broke my heart because his death could have been prevented. That boy didn't deserve to die at all, but especially not in such a horrific manner by a lying sack of garbage that is George Zimmerman.

I will never forget Trayvon's cries in that audio tape. His voice was so helpless and hauntingly chilling.

RIP Trayvon. :love-over:

I think about him all the time. His last moments were absolutely the stuff of nightmares and he was so young. He fought like hell to live. He was just a young teen, talking on the phone with his friend and going on a store run. I bet it never even crossed his mind that he wouldn't return home. It's just sooo terribly sad. Then the public convicted him of his own murder. I'm still disgusted. I'm even more disgusted that Zimmerman proved me right. He was a racist piece of sh!t that lynched a boy, bragged about it and tried to sell the trophy "murder weapon" to other racists like we back in the early 20th century when they used to sell lynching memorabilia. Just awful. Rest in peace Trayvon

I think about how that dumb motherfµcker shot at Zimmerman and missed like how tf do you miss his big cartoonish looking ass.

Trayvon is all of us. The trial proved america, the "justice" system and jury aren't sh!t. Trayvon was murdered when I was in the 7th grade. I was truly devastated. I followed that trial like people followed OJ's in the 90s. When they acquitted Zimmerman I was so disgusted and shocked that all the evidence was present and he still got off. The damn dispatcher told him to leave that little boy alone... I always thought murder was illegal and if there's concrete evidence that someone has committed homicide they will go to jail but that's apparently not the case. They really put Trayvon on trial for his own murder rem how the media tried to portray him and dug up those photos of him. I didn't want to have kids for the longest just because of this whole tragedy. I know I couldn't take something like this I lost it watching fruitvale station.

I have a black son. I think about Trayvon a lot. I still get tears in my eyes thinking about his story. My son loves hoodies and to have to explain to him what ignorant people think of him because of his hoodies was a really tough conversation. When I see Trayvons parents my heart breaks every time. I know the opportunities that they are being given right now are only great on the surface, nothing will take away that pain from losing Trayvon.

Lawd now I need tissue.

Him.Yes. Ififififi, if he had just ran like Jentel, his friend had said.
Ifififiif, Zimmerman had just listened to what the 911 Dispatcher said, “ No, we do not need you to that.” DUH!!!!
Zimmerman, wanna be cop, a head case, a nothing, a no body was simply wrong.
Looking for trouble.
So many if’s. Wrong plce, wrong time for a total of less than 10 mins. Puff, the guy got killed by Zimmerman.

I always say Trayvon was the last black boy that I cared about. Sounds bad but something about his murder stuck with me in a personal way. We didnt know much about him but he seemed like the kind of black male I could have rocked with. Seeing him dead on the ground like that...

Sometimes. He seemed liked a cool kid, and yes, I considered him a kid no matter how the media tried to assassinate his character.

Honestly, I think about his parents more.

I can't imagine what it's like living without your child and knowing that their murderer was found not guilty. That must be hell on Earth.

I don't normally wish for bad things to happen but I wouldn't mind Zimmerman being taken out. I would personally put money on that person's books.

Yes Op, I think about that case from time to time. The outrage should have been much much higher because in this case, Zimmerman was a private citizen acting as if another private citizen had to explain his whereabouts.

All of these other situations involves police officers but in this case it was just a damn citizen who had no right or authority to go and get a gun and tackle a person just because "he" felt he didn't belong in the area.

We sort of calmed down after Obama said that if he had a son he'd look like Trayvon. I never understood why that melted our heart to the point that we sat by and watched the DOJ close the case.

He will always be stored in the list of feelings I regret. Those feelings were experienced during watching the Zimmerman trial and watching the election results last year.

Crazy, because I actually found myself randomly thinking about him yesterday. I was thinking about how he never got to graduate from college like I am about to do.

I felt so personally victimized after what happened to him. Like I feel/felt a profound sense of loss even though I never even knew him. When Zimmerman was acquitted I cried like a baby. That case is what made me "woke" in a sense. I was so emotionally invested.

Absolutely it is sad what happened to this young man and the fact that George Zimmerman is still walking the streets is disheartening. Even before Trayvon's murder Black young men were being persecuted just for being black. Emmett Till, Jimmy Lee Jackson, James Chaney, and Michael Donald. This are all examples of hate crimes. The sad part about it is racism and segregation still exist after all of the years of fighting for freedom.

I think about him, the disbelief he must have felt, as he struggled with that racist psychopath.\
. I think about Sandra Bland and the anger, fear, embarrassment , humiliation and horror she must have felt. I think about the horror , shame and humiliation of all of my Black American ancestors went through, and are going through, myself included.

Mostly about how them letting Zimmerman walk created this environment where you can basically kill a random black person and retire off the money racist people raise for you on gofundme.

I do still think of him. I was in the middle of college when it happened. My blood pressure raises when I think about the ignorant reactions from my peers at the time.

Yes, I do.

Although I'm not a parent, I feel the pain of his mother and father when I see their pictures in the news. They received no justice for their son, and actually had people celebrating when their son's murderer was acquitted. I don't know how they've found the strength to go on.
