If I go somewhere and plan to sit or lay in my bed afterwards, 10/10 I will take my clothes off or change. I've noticed that everyone doesn't do this. Even before COVID, I never would have my outdoor clothes touch my clean sheets, and I've told friends not to sit or lay in my bed with their outdoor clothes on. It's just gross to me. I've also seen people wear their shoes while in bed. :no2 My mom has put shoes at the end of her bed and said that her head is never down there so it doesn't matter smh.

Nope. We were always told to never wear outside clothes in bed. I'll change into pajamas or either sit in a chair/couch if I am going somewhere else.

If I was out somewhere and came home, I would take a shower and then change into my pajamas before getting into bed- you don't know what kinda dirty particles are stuck to your clothes that you could be transferring to bed. I'm very particular. Lol

Hell no.
I sit on the couch in my outside clothes, which is funny because I fall asleep on the couch all the time.
But never my bed.

I also take off my shoes at the entryway.
The only people who are allowed in with shoes on are repair people and my property manager.
Everybody else gotta leave them sh!ts at the door.

Not at all. My clothes come off as soon as I hit my dining room or when I get upstairs to my full bathroom.

That's just nasty putting your filthy clothes on your bed where you lounge and sleep.

Never!...as soon as i get home i strip off my clothes and jump in the shower!
When i was at uni and only had a dorm room, i would put a thick sheet cover over my bed at all times just in case anyone tried to sit down.
Even if i go out clubbing and come home drunk AF, my stumbling ass is getting in that shower! I

Edited to add....people who usually suffer with bedbugs have poor hygiene. I was with a black guy once who used to put his work bag on his bed and felt nothing wrong with it. He could drive but relied heavy on public transport. If we went out late at night and drank to much he would climb into bed without washing. He used to stress me out so much. That relationship ended real quick.
Low and behold sometime after he told me randomly he developed an issue with bedbugs.

I dunno iif its just me but I cannot fall asleep if i feel dirty, and its the same in the morning...if i haven't had a shower then my day cannot start, i wont function!

Yes, though not much anymore unless I'm dead tired. Now I have more expensive clothes that I like and I want them to stay in good condition so I take them off and hang them up. I have my stuff to throw on when I get home.

Nope. I take two baths a day to avoid putting outside body on my bed. At the least, I'll just change clothes.

That’s disgusting.

Only people who weren’t raised right would sit on or climb into their bed with street clothes on.. This also goes for having your shoes on in bed.

Those that groan do that nasty sh!t too..

After having been outside, I don't sit or lay anywhere in my home till I've had a shower and put on fresh clothes.

I barely allow outside clothes on my living room furniture let alone in the bedroom, on the bed, coverlet or sheets. What I've noticed a lot lately is folks putting their luggage, shoes, etc. on their beds. However, since some folks don't bathe as they get home or shortly thereafter, I guess their laying on their beds makes sense to them. SOME are so averse to bathing twice or even once daily, they find it hard to believe that others do so.

Nope! I’m a healthcare worker; and even before I worked in healthcare I was like this.
All of these were Pre- COVID, outside shoes are to be left at the door of my home. I change out of my work/outside clothes before stepping into my bedroom. Throw the clothes into the hamper. I won’t even sit on my bed in the same clothes if I’ve been on the living room couch or kitchen chair. I imagine the few people I allow in my home sitting in their cars and or wherever. I know I’m a germaphobe and perfectly OK with it. Thankfully I have a washer and dryer.

I have outside the house clothes and comfy inside clothes, and they don't mix.

Yeah idc.

When I was working outside the home and got home, I may sit on my bed for a few just to get myself together, scroll my phone or whatever until I have the energy to shower.

If I’m off of work and I just go out leisurely and I know I’m not doing anything crazy I may plop down on my bed or sit on it when I get home.

Hell na... I don't even like going to bed unless I've had a shower after being outside, unless I'm exhausted.

How do you have people over if you don't have outside clothes in your living room?

I take my shoes off downstairs and I sit on the couch in outside clothes. Ironically, I sometimes fall asleep on the couch too.

I get upstairs and I may sit on my bed for a minute or two but I never lay down or lounge around on my bed in clothes I’ve worn outside because I tend to like to get my shower out of the way so I can relax..

No, that's disgusting. Shoes in the bed is one of the absolute worst, most repugnant things people do. Wearing shoes in the house is bad enough, but in the bed? Why would you choose to roll around in filth?
