I live nyc and I honestly can’t picture myself moving to a place where it’s constantly hot. I lived in Miami for a few months and it was actually a miserable experience for me.

What are the winters like?
This winter was nonexistent the past couple of weeks it was 60 degrees jumped up to 80 went down to 60 went back up to the 80 and now we almost in the 100s. I swear the only good thing about the pandemic is that I didn't have to go outside last year

plus 95 is actual pretty normal. Real Arizonians prefer it to be 75-85. 90's a little toasty but nothing to fret about.

Miami sounds like a nice cool getaway for me as it is 73 degrees while Phoenix is currently 99 degrees. I’M STRUGGLING CHILE.

It's unusually hot in the Upper Midwest right now. It's usually around 50 degrees or even snowing at this time of the year. I think the US will see some interesting weather patterns in the upcoming months...

I knew something was up. It’s usually 80 something degrees in spring but right now it’s nearly 100 which is odd.

I moved there in the summer. It was July and 120 degrees! I didn’t care about the heat, was just glad to be out of a bad situation at that time.

But it’s going to get hotter(way hotter) as summer progresses sis, so enjoy that 95.

So hot that you have to change your car battery every year? Too hot.

I would have to disagree with the battery thing. I don't know too many people with battery problem. Now all the other car problems is REAL and the rest of this his list is VALID. You under inflate your tires, they might pop due to the hot weather, friction, and objects in the road. Car Windows/Windshield crack due to hot weather but its not the main cause, it's rocks having trajectory by large pick up trucks/semi trucks. Arizona is one of the drug capitals in the united states. It's weird because it was not like that 20 years ago.

Dang I knew it was an issue but I didn’t know it was this bad. :|

I know a lot of people who use drugs but I didn’t realize we were among the highest in the nation in so many categories....

Tbh I get why people do it, it’s near Mexico and boring asf here so it makes a prime spot. We really rank like the South in a lot of categories but try to act West Coast. I think this state has identity issues.

Exactly why my brother moved away from Las Vegas. Summers are too brutal
Summers in Vegas are so extreme that it's sometimes unsafe to go outside for long periods. The air feels like you're in an oven, and on windy days it feels like an air dryer blowing on your face. I fµck!ng hated summer when I lived there

I’m visiting my brother now in Mesa. It’s absolutely beautiful here! We went to Sedona and am now we are on the way to visit Tombstone. I don’t mind the heat because it’s a dry heat. I honestly think I could live here. I need to get the hell out of NYC.

:cries: I’m really about to make that move, lol.
IMO it is not that bad and this is from someone who grew up in the south with 100 degree summers WITH humidity. The heat here is dry, so it doesn't bother me much. I do work in an office so I am from my air-conditioned building to my air-conditioned car to another air-conditioned building. I guess if you work outside it could be bad, but from what I hear, people that work outside(DOT) have an alternate schedule during the summer. They start their day at 4 or 5 am and are done by noon.

It is not bad. If people can live in Georgia, Louisana, or Texas during the summer with heat AND humidity, AZ is easy, plus the "winters" here are amazing.
