"To Every Fan of Being Mary Jane,

We have all worked so tirelessly to bring you a show that we could be proud to be a part of. Mary Jane has become my favorite character. We've screwed up together, laughed together, evolved together, and raised hell together. I love all her imperfections, and through playing her I became more forgiving of others who are imperfect and on the journey of self discovery and improvement. We watched her struggle with relationships with both men and women, and we watched her finally start to get her sh!t together. But the journey isn't over yet. We, as a Being Mary Jane family, cannot wait to bring you this final 2 hour series finale movie that will answer all your questions about each and every character. More than anything, however, we want to thank you with every fiber of our being for faithfully watching the show and supporting our work... from the actors, writers, producers, directors and enormous crew over the years, we are humbled and we remain grateful. Thank you!"

It got too lame for me once she started dating black Nigel Thornberry. I don't remember when it comes on and not cluttering DVD with it but I might watch it if it gets put on Netflix with the rest of the show. The writing for the show is pretty blah tho.

Good riddens, won't bother me. I quit watching the show after the first few episodes. I got tired of the excess thirst for a man and other continual man issues, etc.

Aww I liked this show. I liked it better before Mary Jane moved to new York though.

Don't get all the hate. I loved the show the worst part of the show was Lee. However I felt that there are alot of people around the world who could identify with Mary Jane

Yeahhhh...It just came off as genetic, bland and cliche ridden. Impressive it lasted for four years though.
4 years! I didnt realize it was on that long.

I remember the premier promo having women saying "i am mary jane" I was like "no the hell I am not mary jane." That was wack and corny.

I think the show was good. However, somewhere between Season 2 and 3 the writing got really bad and cliche. The show aimed discuss real world topics but it lacked flow with the characters. I haven't watched this season, but this show is one I catch up when theres nothing else on

The show jumped the shark when it chose NYC instead of Atlanta. She got to New York and all we saw was her inside the office. BORING!!!!! This season, I saw maybe 3 episodes and I fell asleep on those. When she decided to sue, I knew it was the beginning of the end.

I definitely can relate to MJ with all the family drama. I'm always the one that's not involved in the mess but somehow they always involve me. They all also expect me to have it all together. I can't relate to her crazy love life though lol

She said each and every character, welp I’d like to see Omari and Gary Dourdan in their roles one last time. She had real chemistry with them. Not so much with any other tv boyfriend including Michael Ealy.

I think this is no surprise to those of us who watched the show. Im going to make myself sit down and watch the first season. I came to it on the back end of the 2nd. I didnt want to view yet another show with a woman cheating with a married man. Scandal was enough for me.

I found myself liking it even if MJ annoyed the hell out of me. The men were gorgeous! Minus her oogly english boyfriend. This last season was disjointed and messy. They totally changed the character. As if it was written by a white woman who think shes knows black women, because she dates a black man. It was off. It needed to go.

Good. This season was a complete joke. A mess and an insult. The show has run its course. No one will ever get their sh!t together in her family and at her morning show. They’ll all continue to be hot ass messes. There. Season finale done.

I liked the show. Couldn't get into it and stopped after she decided to sue though.

Tried watching the episodes in New York, but it was cringe worthy. Did not finish them at all.
Its like as if it were white people writing about black people or something, I don't know. Something was just off. The writing just became cringe worthy. The actors and actresses were great though.

I think this has more to do with the lawsuit than the fact that the show jumped the shark. Although it went in a completely different direction, I think it started to get better at the end of the season and had a lot of potential if the writing stayed where it was or got better. IMO, I think Mara and her hubby should have taken the show with them.
