Sis, if you're not Sasha Banks vs Bianca BelAir about to wrestle a 30 minute match on WrestleMania, ain't no reason for you to need your makeup to stay on THAT bad.

Sis looks too good to be so damned ridiculous. I knew this would happen. The moment Tessica made a come up from the gorilla glue incident, I knew their would be an influx of people pressing their luck just the same.

Now wtf is she doing in her day where powder and setting spray isn’t enough? Is she about to climb Mount Everest with that beat?

Hairspray as makeup setting spray is an old goth makeup club trick from the 80s and 90s. The alcohol/harsh chemicals will fµck up your skin for sure, but that night-out aesthetic was the priority--it does indeed stand up to dancing until 6am. Mehron makes a more skin-friendly one for theatrical makeup I use sometimes because it absolutely seals everything down, but it is still only a special occasion thing because it is harsh.

Nothing new under the sun.

This is a well known hack. I used to do this with hair spray when I was into makeup and it doesn't really work it just makes your skin dirty.

lol...

I know cheerleaders and pageant girls spray their face with hairspray...but that's usually for competitions or very long events/shows.

this is a lot. it's not that serious.

This really isn't new. Girls on TikTok really act like they're inventing sliced bread, when they're really just re-discovering the knife. It's slightly ridiculous.

I feel like this is a good trick to use every once in a while but even still I wouldn't do it. There's a reason why it's only meant for hair it will definitely fµck up your skin no doubt.

A lot of these makeup hacks I keep seeing are old drag tricks. I hate Tik Tok because it has people (especially YT people) thinking theyre reinventing the wheel.

This isn’t new or surprising like maybe 6 yrs ago on YouTube I remember seeing a few different people use hair spray as a makeup hack. People been doing this for years.

Remember when the ladies’ room would be filled with hairspray so even if you left yours at home, all you had to do was a little twirl to catch all the remnants in the air? lol. Fun times.
