Well Joshua Malina co-hosted The West Wing Weekly, and he’s still working. I don’t see the problem, beyond wondering if The OC was an important enough show to warrant a podcast now that e show is over. Will there be an audience for this?

Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey's "Office Girls" podcast has been pretty successful, though.

But of course The Office is a much more popular and enduring show than The OC.
The O.C. is also a bit older than The Office. I don't know if this podcast will work, it's been almost 20 years and there's no "remake" in the works to make it newsworthy.

OP. The disrespect! I'm in tears almost.

The show only lasted like 3 seasons, maybe 4. I don't think we can really call it a hit when only S1 had buzz. Sexy Cam Gigandet , who should have played Ryan (ratings gold) said that the cast were all stuck up and complained that they couldn't wait to move on to other work.

Cam was a struggling actor and couldn't understand how these lucky people could sit around and complain about having steady work. It was only the younger cast acting above it all.

Seth (Adam Brody) was too fine to be a nerd. Seth's rich behind would have had my ass 17 and pregnant, with the bag secured. Glad his career is finally rebounding a bit.

Sadly, the show really showed some promise when Chris Brown (pre-Rihanna incident) was a guest starring. Like there was an existing spark for a new generation of OC drama. The CW was even willing to pick up the show from Fox, but Josh Swarts (whatever his name) wanted to focus on stupid Gossip Girl, so he let the show die.

The final season was a roller coaster of a few ups and a lot of downs for us fans. If done right, this show could be a nice reboot.

Back to Op's point, I'm not interested in this Podcast haha.

Not by that much. I think The OC started like a year or two before The Office but I feel you... The Office is fresher in the memory because it lasted much, much longer than The OC.

Chile, The OC had me transfixed summer break '13. I'd be in the lab waiting for my assays with the episodes on in the background lmao. It went VERY left season 3/4 though and I never ended up finishing it lol. Good luck to them on their podcast, tho.

Sounds like two women making jobs for themselves. Where's the problem? Nothing lasts to.

There is a bunch of podcasts about both shows.

That's when they wrote Shailene Woodley off the show because she not hit puberty yet

I'm all for writing that girl out of most shows. She can't act. She better enjoy her Greenbay millions and leave Hollywood behind.

I loved the first two seasons of this show but it really suffered during the writers strike and was never the same (LOST was another show that jumped the shark around that time). I’d be interested in this podcast if they talk about the writers strike or the soundtrack.. but I won’t hold my breath.

I only look back fondly on the soundtracks. did the music licensing get in the way of syndication? Never felt the desire to rewatch this show.

This show was iconic and I'm sure does well on streaming. TBH, if it was on a smaller network like WB/CW it would've had 7-8 seasons just like One Tree Hill and some other teen shows. I'm not surprised this podcast is doing well. Also smart for the actresses who I'm sure are making good money from it. If they built enough buzz they could end up with a reboot.
