Did you order extra bands or are the ones that come with it enough to start with?Yes. Due to Covid I’ve been working out from home, but still wanted to do heavy hip thrusts to maintain and grow my glutes. I love it
I ordered one extra band-a 70 lb one because I like to go heavy. If you’re new to hip thrusts, the ones it comes with are enoughDid you order extra bands or are the ones that come with it enough to start with?
I have it too! I also got the 70lb band.I ordered one extra band-a 70 lb one because I like to go heavy. If you’re new to hip thrusts, the ones it comes with are enough
Yes it is! They're $16 each.Sitting. I love traditional hip thrusts in the gym, but I am really considering this for the house. Is the 70lb band the heaviest they have??
I also use it for Bulgarian split squats and hyperextensions lol.
How do you do hyperextensions on this?
Yeah, how the heck do you do it (set it up), and what are you leaning on?I tried it but I couldn’t go heavy enough with it. I stacked two 75lb bands on top of one other but only felt the burn at 30-something reps even with an extra band above my knees so I returned it.
I’m waiting for gyms to just start buying the hip thrusting machines (after they open back up) because setting up barbell hip thrusts takes forever.
Put a bench against a wall, take a yoga mat (for hip padding, nothing else works at 300+lbs) or those yoga pads if the gym has them, take the bar, load it up (the big Olympic plates so I can easily slide under). Once loaded, take the yoga mat or pad that I put on the bench, slide under the bar, put folded yoga mat/yoga pad on my hips.Yeah, how the heck do you do it (set it up), and what are you leaning on?
Was he not caught on camera banging on her bathroom door like a lunatic not too I have it too! I also got the 70lb band.
It makes more sense to go from two 45s to one 45 and one 70, if you're progressive overloading. (Instead of jump to three 45s)
I'm loving it so far. It's very challenging and I'm definitely seeing booty gains. (Diet is also important) I am working out at home exclusively. I live in an apartment so I like that this is easy to set up, store away when not in use, etc.

I place a kettlebell (20lbs) on the foot platform so that I don't go flying lmao. I'm short (5'2") so I can place the bottoms of my feet on the edge of the foot platform there closest to me it's stable enough to let me do the exercise. I do it with a 15lb dumbell in my arms. That sh!t had my hamstrings sore for days.
20lb kettlebellWhat other equipment y’all have at home any recommendations? Thank you.
