i will never watch cable news again. I get my news locally from my affiliate station as local stations tend not to have biases. i augment that with positive stories from the Good News Network. I attempt to avoid things on LSA and Social Media because, again bias
I mainly read news articles for national and world news, but watch the news that comes out of New Orleans for more regional news. I also watch them for my weather. I don't watch them live, but whenever they upload the highlights to their Youtube channel.
I usually get my news online. If it's what I consider major/breaking news and I want to keep up with the latest, I'll watch cable news while monitoring it online.
the internet, lsa, reddit, guardian, bbc news (im in the uk). i rarely watch tv anymore, i only watch tv if the internet is down or if i cant sleep and i get a snack from the fridge and want to enjoy the tv when everyone else is asleep
Has anyone else noticed that the so-called cheaper streaming services prices increase dramatically if you want access to all three major news networks?? In order to get all three at once, you need to buy their highest tier.
Cable is expensive not because of the thousands of reruns of movies and old TV series, I truly believe that they want to keep those who are not able to afford access to global news in the dark. The local news spends approximately five minutes on real news and 25 minutes on BS, local sports, commercials and minutia.
