This thread will detail how to add an event to the Sportsbook and become an LSA bookie! When you add an event to the Sportsbook, you get all of the Alleybux from the losing bets.

Click the Sportsbook link in the forum menu and click the "add event" button. Select which category your event should be listed under.

Adding an event:

Enter the title of your event. The location is optional. The closing date is the last date and time that bets will be accepted for your event. Enter the time in military format. For example 8:00 p.m would be entered as 20:00. Enter the event details, then click the "add event" button.

Adding outcomes:

The outcomes are all of the possible winners of the event. They are entered one at a time. For the odds use Moneyline. If you don't know where to find Moneyline odds just google moneyline plus the name of your event. For example "moneyline nba" or "moneyline boxing." Here is an example of a page that lists the Moneyline for NBA games: https://www.vegasinsider.com/nba/odds/las-vegas/money/?s=540

Under the Advanced options list the minimum wager amount. Remember that losing bets go to the bookie so you probably want your minimum wager amount to be more than 1 Alleybux.

Under the Autolock options list the last date and time wagers will be accepted for this particular outcome. Remember to use military time format.

When all of the info is added click the "add outcome" button.

Settling events:

When the event is over, go back to the event you entered and select the "settle event" button.

To settle the event select the "Pay out" button next to the winner. If an event was canceled or postponed select the "Push" button to return the Alleybux to the people who placed wagers.

If someone wins, do they take the money of the person who created the event? If not where does the money come from?
