Hello Lovely HR Folks.

I have a 30 minute screening interview tomorrow.

I've done my prep. I feel confident.

Is there anything else I can do to differentiate myself? There are 15 people on the interview list. I just need to get the in person interview.

Is it weird to drop off a personalized thank you card the next business day to the interviewer? I could do the e-mail thank you but I think the in person will help make me memorable.

Thanks for your help :cake:

If you can drop it off without being a nuisance or talking directly to the interviewers i think it'd be fine. You don't want to appear improper by talking to them unsolicited but leaving it with a secretary so they get it first thing might be good. Most will email, if they do anything at all.

Have a question ready that is really specific to the company.

The best way to stand out is to ask the best questions when they ask if you have any question.

Ask them something that they have to think about and can't respond with a canned answer. I like to ask what differentiates them from competitors and what are the strengths and weaknesses of the firm.
