So, I’ve been through a lot and I’ve only recently started to heal and process all of it.

Now, I’m experiencing another problem. I just don’t feel like myself anymore. I feel like I’ve changed and I’m still changing and I don’t like the fact that I’m starting to feel like a completely different person.

Is there anything I can do to stop feeling this way?

I feel like the things I went through put me through so much emotional stress that I’m worried that I’ll never get back to my old self. I really don’t like this.

I wish you were more specific.

Are you becoming more cynical/withdrawn/jaded ? Or do feel a general vague sense of sadness?

I feel the same way. I’ve been praying more about getting me back to a positive place

OP sometimes all you can do is come to be at peace with who you are now.

Take one of these Myers Briggs personality tests. Under times of great stress, we sometimes revert to our inferior functions which can make us feel “not like ourselves”. It is okay - it helps Integrate the shadow parts of your personality with the dominant part so you can be a more whole person.
