I’m only thinking about this because this chump former crew member from the reality show below deck was obviously perusing the show’s reddit & got his feelings hurt
If I was slightly famous then yes (like Rachel True) because the articles would be specific. I still wouldn’t pay much mind to tweets or comments on forums though unless someone tells me.
If I was a global phenomenon then no because there’s too much tomfoolery when you get too famous. My agent can deal with that.
I get confuse when I see huge celebs get up in their feelings on Twitter about some random tweet. Now, if it’s a news article then yes I will respond to that if it’s some bull (like from the Daily Mail). Careers are ending today.
Nope. I'm not famous at all but I had interviews and have enter contests. It's weird to have people approach you about things you did or say. So looking myself up would be very unnecessary if I ever got to that level cause I can only imagine folks approaching you about this or you trying to find stuff and your name just randomly pops up.
No. The worst ones have google alerts set up or search their names on twitter. I would have C and D list celebs (rappers, fake activists, reality tv stars, washed up ball players, etc.) in my mentions responding to tweets I did not tag them in. I eventually locked my account because it was extremely annoying. Let me talk sh!t in peace!
Lol I'm not famous yet but I already Google myself now
I actually even found someone using my pictures to catfish a few years ago it was sooo fµck!ng creepy
I agree with the font who said it would depend on how famous I was. If I'm only slightly well-known and there are only a few things that come up when you google me, then yes I'd pay attention because if those few things are negative and they are the only things that come up about me on the web, then it might be cause for concern, might affect my employability, and my reputation.
If I'm super famous then I really don't see the point.
