I tried to keep in mind we are guest. This isn't my wedding and it's not a prom. The goal is to be dressy without upstaging anyone and without being too over dressed. Also if I actually attend the wedding I want to feel confident and comfortable and blend in with the other guest. All the weddings I've attended weddings guest didn't have a dress code you just came as you are. So I've witnessed other guest wearing dress shirt with tie and jeans. Ladies just wear regular church dresses or something they already own nobody I know of would buy another outfit to attend a wedding. I don't have any fancy black tie event dresses. I would say in the past I've worn summer dresses to wedding and that what other women are usually wearing. Other than that ladies tend to do their hair and makeup to their best ability.

I've attended church and back yard weddings so nobody really cares about what you wear as long as you're not wearing white.

If it fits what you normally experience and you werent given a specific dress code, then it's fine. This all looks like the wedding is outdoors, it does read really casual, especially the women.

It seems way too casual to me but I’m sure you know the couple better than we do, OP. Try to remember to coordinate your mask with whatever you decide :mask:

Far more modest than what I wore to a southern wedding earlier this year, but the announcement said it was Black Tie.

Your choices look fine to me :)

The last dress with the small flowers is a little too noisy for a guest, tbh. Go with something patternless.

You said the dress code was black tie, this is not black-tie attire. This is fine for a casual wedding but not for black-tie

Why can’t you just contact the people who invited you to the wedding?

The dress is nice but it does read a bit casual. I wore something like this and didn't feel over or underdressed:

I think it’s fine especially since the attire is more casual. Anything too fancy or revealing would be upstage the wedding party.
