White privilege = not automatically a bad person. They don't face certain obstacles because of the way they look.

Her Afro Puerto Rican friend was dating a white guy and his family asked him why couldn't he date someone like the girl in the video.

Deny it isn't the answer, they got to acknowledge the white privilege exists and the ways they benefit from it is the first step.

When White Hispanics/Latinos speak Spanish in public is when others start screaming at them to "speak English, this is America!" and they're not white enough.

Some engage in racist behavior towards black people in blackface, imagery, tv shows, etc.

We only have social privilege as in either they find Latin people exotic, something to bring home and fµck so some of us use that as a climb up or they think we all hard workers so it helps us get jobs, low wage jobs but jobs none the less. Racist white Americans see any person speaking Spanish as a "Mexican", even if that person is 100 percent white. Just for being from South or Central America. Even those from Spain get a sideye, for being culturally Latino.

Just like when Louis CK said he was born in Mexico, the interviewer immediately got weird and made a racial comment.

However, I have zero sympathy for white Latinos who get this treatment when they get here, because in their own countries most of them are actively oppressing mestizos and black people. It's what's most natural to them.

When they get here, most are white supremacists, being smacked down by other white supremacists.
