Maybe if black people world monetarily produce their own it would be easier to put people like us on. It's like everyone else can nepotism and favor the system to death.....except black people.

As for Lee, he and a few other "creatives" like him are closing the door and whining about the lack of talent.

Is this why it went left during the second season? The gorilla head & the talentless girl group were a mess. They could've put on a really talented Black R&B group & given them exposure that's hard to get.

So, he’s pro-Black for BHM?

The same Lee Daniels who basically shut down Black viewers—who made Empire a hit, btw—when they balked at him giving Hispanic actors/writers/directors opportunities over Black folks in order to appease the likes of Gina Rodriguez?

He just stated that after season 1 those choices were the studios... he no longer had control.

And remember when he tried justifying making that white girl the star of "Star?" Plus only have lightskinned characters on Empire or white....
