LSA.....Is this a creative romantic date or a cheap date?

What would you classify this date as?

I don’t know where this is, but I know that water stinks. The sand probably contains shards of glass and needles. If he wanted to do a water date, surely there are restaurants that are near a reasonably clean body of water.

The scenery is throwing me off but other than that it looks like he put some thought and money into his outdoor date.

They're doing a pandemic-safe date by the water with wine. Meanwhile, a woman out there is praying that her COVID bae has a hot Little Caesar's pizza ready for her when she comes over to get banged on his dirty couch.

Let these folks live!

If the 2 people involved are happy & satisfied...then that's all that matters.

You can create memories & spend time with your significant other outside of going to restaurants for your dates

It's poorly executed. And how do we know the dude set it up? If he did I will give points because it seems like a lot of men would be too lazy to make this kind of (low) effort. The tablecloth should be a solid red or white color and the chairs should have been covered as well. The table is too big and there's too much stuff on it. And I agree with those who says it looks dirty. He should have cleaned the area out a little bit before setting the table there.

If this were on an actual clean beach with better views I would be with it.

She is like "just smile, he tried, it will be over soon". Hood pigeons screaming in the backround "when yall gonna be done".

She can take a bath in sanitizer when she gets home. He gets an A for effort tho.

If was a different beach with clean water then yes, this is a hard no.

One of them thoughtfully got a table, food and wine out there..regardless if the water is crystal clear and the sand is white..they are enjoying each other’s company on a thoughtful date.

Wonder how long they've been dating. Seems like alot of thought and work to carry all of that around to setup it up. Where I live there are tons of pretty parks near the lake that would make this really nice. Maybe there aren't many nice, clean, treelined picnic areas near the water in their neighborhood.

I think it’s creative and Atleast he tried. Doesnt look cheap to me because it would cost less to just go to a Applebee’s and it would be a lot less effort. Also we never know what’s going on between these two.

I wouldn’t like this though but seems like she had no problem with it so it’s not my business.

I think he had good intentions, but the execution wasn’t great. They seem to be a couple that’s been together for a while. I can’t really judge, because I have no idea what that spot means to them.

Mmm, not cheap. Creative yea, but also a tad awkward. But if they like it, I love it.

Where is the personal waiter, m’atride, standing off to the side to respond to the woman’s every need. Hard Pass for the setting. Looks like they found an underpass somewhere in Jersey, and set up a table.

Some ninja told me our second date would be sitting on grass hill at his favorite park in Palisades looking at NYC with a bottle of wine or Moscato...:bulgyeyes
No second date....

This is in New York City...I know they have better spots than this.. Nah. She doesn't even look that interested.

I do not like outdoors like that. NO. LOL

Its not about money but comfort, here. I can not be sitting outside for more than 15 minutes

Issa no for me because of that alone.

It might’ve been a good idea, but this was poor execution. This does not look sanitary.

To me it's cute esp with some good home cooked food but my friends would think it's cheap.

Looks like lower east side and that was my first thought too that it being NYC water automatically makes it stinky :lol

Good for them, nice to see a young couple enjoying time together :)

A for effort. He dressed up and I'm sure that dragging that table out there was a mild hassle.

But ew @ that water though.

The water looks unappealing. A clean beach would be more ideal but it’s a nice gesture and I’m not in the relationship
