She used him throughout their marriage. He was in love with her.
I just wanna post it.Not sure we needed yet another thread about Prince's women, especially since there are so many about this one already
I don't particularly care for Manuela, but I feel like that's expected from someone who was nearly 20 years his junior. She used him throughout their marriage. He was in love with her. View attachment 2620243
Did they seem to have genuine chemistry in person, or was she just young arm candy? As much as I'm a HUGE fan of Prince(r.i.p.) it was HIS decision to be with Manuela(whom I met & attended her memorial). Plus he did actually love her and she was there during his HUGE resurgence in 2004 and they looked good together & he enjoyed her on his arm.
I saw them up close & personal when she was massaging his shoulders. Most relationships like there's don't last forever. Plus I feel they both got what they wanted from each other at the time. How many people actually get to marry their favorite artist & be the object of their desire?
They were a DROP DEAD GORGOIUS couple.
I can feel the love between them. It was during a break when he was filming his "Musicology" video that I was fortunate enough to be a part of. I LOVED being a fly on the wall watching them.Did they seem to have genuine chemistry in person, or was she just young arm candy?
She said in a interview that the best thing about the marriage was the business she got out of it.How did she use him?
He wasn't in love with her. He was in love with an image, the reflection of vanity. She used him throughout their marriage. He was in love with her. View attachment 2620243

Quick question about Prince chasing the reflections of Vanity. Had he ever said anything publicly (aside from when she passed) about his feelings toward her? Maybe in an interview? He wasn't in love with her. He was in love with an image, the reflection of vanity.
Didn't anyone read his memoir? Didn't anyone listen to the song Way Back Home or Future Baby Momma?
Do people still believe in Hollywood lies and fairytales?
I think he was desperate for children and hoped Manuela could give him what Mayte could not.Did they seem to have genuine chemistry in person, or was she just young arm candy?
He didn't reveal his deep personal secrets with a journalist that would twist his words. He was careful about what he would say in interviews. He guarded his heart. He had to protect her too. He mentioned her and Morris in the Ebony interview then he had it pulled. Please read his memoir.Quick question about Prince chasing the reflections of Vanity. Feels like the only thing we’ve got to connect the dots is his music and hearsay.
Poor Prince. He was already nearing 50 when things ended with Manuela. Seems like he'd given up on the idea of starting a family after her. And hearing that she conceived with Eric Benet must've felt like a punch in the gut... especially after she left with a good chunk of P's hard-earned money.I think he was desperate for children and hoped Manuela could give him what Mayte could not.
Unfortunately, whatever issue there was with him having children, didn't stop Manuela from popping out kids with Eric Benet.
I ain’t saying she gold digger but she was not with no broke ——-Sounds like he may not have been a good husband.
No it was an accidentRead his memoir.

He died 66 days after Denise. That wasn't a coincidence.
As much we'd all love to believe that Prince/Denise had some otherworldly, Romeo & Juliet connection that led to his untimely death... none of us know for sure.Read his memoir.

What interview?Prince had the interview pulled because it was 'not flattering' to him. He said too much

Here’s my favorite part of said interview. Prince was HILARIOUS, lol.
“I wouldn’t give nary one of these folks the time of day.” He definitely stood on that statement until he went home to glory!
Prince said that he thought he was speaking off the record but the interviewer said that was not the case. It was not a flattering interview. Prince likely realized that and had it pulled.

Speaking of kids, remember those rumors floating around years ago about a secret child he had (but kept out of the public eye)? Mostly sounds like bull, but my aching heart wishes it were true, lol.
In his own words in his memoir, he didn't write anything past high school age.Read his memoir.

IF Prince had a secret child, knowing him... he'd have kept everything off the record. Say he did include the child in a formal will... well once he passed, the news would've become public somehow. That's probably the last thing he would've wanted, even in death. Just my theory.I remember those rumors BUT, knowing that he provided for wives in a will while he was married, wouldn't he have done the same for a child rather than letting everything go fallow with mostly-older half-sublings?
I think I mistook what was being said...my mistake. I was referring to the Essence or Ebony interview in which he was more forthcoming than usual. What made the interview not flattering? I don't see what he said that was so bad
IF he had a child, there would have been a trust AND a will. He was private but he wouldn't have left his own flesh and blood out there with nothing. He was flaunting Mayte's pregnancy; he only got private about the child's death.IF Prince had a secret child, knowing him... he'd have kept everything off the record. That's what I'm talking about. What did he say in that interview that was so bad that he needed to pull it? Because I remember reading it and didn't see anything that made him look badPrince did not have a secret child. He would have openly celebrated having a child.
Not having children was painful for him.

This is the misconception about his memoir. You need to really read his words carefully and think about it to know what he is revealing. He wasn't a direct person. In his own words in his memoir, he didn't write anything past high school age.
He was not kissing the ass of his associates. He outright tells us Susannah is lying and we now know he lent her money but she kept right on inflating her time with him and continues to do so.What made the interview not flattering? I don't see what he said that was so bad
There is not misconception he is quite clear and people need to stop living in some sort of fantasy world. This is the misconception about his memoir. You need to really read his words carefully and think about it to know what he is revealing. He wasn't a direct person.
These are his words. He said if he had his time again he would have preferred the Song of Solomon read and discussed instead of learning about xes from pδrn.There is not misconception he is quite clear and people need to stop living in some sort of fantasy world.
It's not an accident when you tell the world "wait a few days before you waste your prayers". Or you overdose twice in 6 days. Or you sign the hospital form declining treatment. No it was a acco
No it was an accident
Well why'd he think that was reason to take down the interview? It's not like he said something bad. He just corrected some lies. Idk that just doesn't make sense to meHe was not kissing the ass of his associates. He was right not to pay any attention because they are all lying lazy assholes.
I like the way you word things, and I believe they were drop-dead gorgeous. As much as I'm a HUGE fan of Prince(r.i.p.) it was HIS decision to be with Manuela(whom I met & attended her memorial).
