Happened with me my junior year...and i was in an all girls dorm too. I could've just told the RA's but the pettiness in me wouldn't let me. I stayed up all night blasting my music or playing videos games volume up on high all night everytime he slept over. It worked and they eventually got an apartment together.

This is an unsafe situation for the other girls in the dorm so please speak up if y'all encounter this situation.

Yes. I had an off campus apartment and I had three out of four roommates where their boyfriends were there for weeks-months at a time.

I remember one time a roommates boyfriend came in with a key like he lived there.

Because many of y’all aunties and uncles refuse to teach their boys how to clean their rooms properly.

Toilets, tubs, and showers be having sh!t rings, room smells like weed and sour, and bed sheets unwashed for an entire semester.

YES this is how they live. Don’t ask me how I know.

My roommate did that and at the end of the semester found out she was pregnant and dropped out. I was so glad to not have to live with her anymore lol

Do you find this to be true from your experience? I've noticed since freshman year that all my roommates like to have their boyfriends stay over all the time throughout the semester.

They'll only stay go to their boyfriends place for 1-2 weeks but continue with the same routine until the lease is up

I'm just confused and curious...do the boyfriends find their place more comfortable?
I remember my first year roommate boyfriend basically lived in our room for a whole semester. Every night they were together I was pissed.

People are extremely inconsiderate and expect you to be comfortable with their boyfriend staying there because they're comfortable with it. It was 10x worse in the dorms and you had to sleep there like there wasn't some random dude sleeping 6 feet away from you. So inconsiderate like get a hotel room

This is soooo true. All my rooomates had their boyfriends basically move in with us. It was annoying because sometimes they just met this boy a day ago but they’re moving him into our personal space and that’s not safe. It’s so annoying, especially the overly friendly ones. They’ll be trying to have a conversation with me early in the morning or talk to me when I’m on the toilet lol.

I’ve heard from female RAs that the boys dorms tend to be disgusting, and maybe she doesn’t feel safe living with a bunch of guys idk.

Yes.

The girl next to me man’s was over so much, knocking on her door I swore he was homeless.
I actually think some of their boyfriends are homeless, it’s like they have nowhere else to stay. They even have the key to our place. i wonder if these guys are even staying so hard because they need a place to stay. It seems like everyone in a serious relationship has their boyfriend move in, are they hobosexuals?

yes, when i was in university, the girls would have their men practically move in. never the reverse. sharing a single bed.
I always wondered how they made that work smh. Why is this so common? I’m not even American (Canadian) and it’s the same thing over here

It’s because the guys dorms are often nasty. Especially the bathrooms.
Yep, that’s what a female RA told me, and I was shocked because the female dorms aren’t clean imo (they’re super messy) so ... they must really be disgusting

College Dorm Fund

In the next three to five years I see myself as having to obtain my bachelors degree of science in the field of chemistry. I also visualize myself as a member of the American Chemistry Society. Working as a chemist researching to discover solutions in various health areas would bring such joy and achievement in my career. After studying chemistry I would like to attend medical school to further my knowledge in the field of cardiology. While pursuing my education away from home will allow me the opportunity to mature. Best Regards Thanks in advance!

its better that way, what woman is willing to sleep with her head next to a nightstand full of piss bottles, 2 week old pizza, and a pile of broken glass shoved into the corner

Its because the guy is usually homeless or broke and mooching off of her. She has food and shelter. Men that have their own place aren’t trying to live up under a woman.

They do that because the girl's place is usually cleaner and the girl wouldn't feel comfortable going to the guys' house and being around his roommates.

YET they think it's okay to make their female roommates uncomfortable having their boyfriend around all the time.
This!!!
