I gained weight and became less active because I was afraid to go outside at the height of the pandemic. I also look more bloated due to excessive alcohol consumption. I will be starting a new job in a new place that pays more, and my hope is that some of the weight will fall off once I start working and change the bad eating habits that I've picked up while being locked inside.

I lost, then gained back plus more over the holidays, and now I've started to lose the weight again. Quarantine was too damn long

I did gain a bit of weight initially but have had a lot of stressful situations play out in last few months and have lost that weight I’ve gained and then some.

pre covid i lost a lot of weight

i gained that back but slowly losing it again. still not my normal weight but i'm fine. things wont be back to normal until at least 2 more months so we have time

I lost weight in the very first few weeks because I wanted to make use of my outside time. Then as quarantine became stricter and longer I started binge-eating, gaining like 30 pounds in the span of 6 months. Yet now, ever since January, I've been losing significant weight again and I'm back to my initial weight. This body said let's go on a rollercoaster!

I lost. I started a weightloss journey way before Ms. Rona and I wasn’t going to let her stop me. I don’t have to deal with coworkers constantly trying to feed me or going out to eat with friends!

I'm the biggest I've ever been in my life. Never weighed more that 145-150lbs. Thanks to medication and being immobile, I am over 200lbs!! No, I wasn't eating poorly either. I think with being older, weight coming on way too easy and hard to get off. This has me sad and embarrassed.:confused:

I was doing ok and maintaining my weight until about Ocotber. I canceled my gym membership and had been working out outside but once Winter hit I put on 10lbs. Working to get it off now, I'm getting the vaccine next week and signing back up.

I gained about 5 pounds but lost a lot of muscle definition and that's what makes the biggest difference for me.

i was really skinny and i got thiiiick i dont mind i like my legs and I worked off most of the gut just got a little extra stomach fat i'd like to go so i'll try clean eating

Yo-yoing. I've lost two loved ones during the pandemic (not from covid). I go from eating too little or eating too much.

I gained. Stayed solid for about 5-6 months, then I yo yo’d upwards from there. I feel like a complete chonkers now, but I’m getting back in the groove.

I lost weight during corona. I stopped snacking like I used to cut my carbs down and just walked around my neighborhood.

I lost 3 pounds in a few months which I don’t know why. I’ve been eating a lot more because I want to gain weight but the opposite keeps happening.

Gained 10 lbs (147lbs at my heaviest) then lost those 10 lbs (135lbs) but I'd like to lose 10 more lbs (125lbs) to go closer to my consistent weight about 4 years ago lol. I was there briefly in 2019 but alcohol and hanging out with friends got the best of me so here we are. It won't take long but I'm lazy sometimes and like to snack. I'm 5'6" so luckily I'm still a size small, size 2/4 but I want to be a solid size 2 again :crying.

Gained 25lbs working from home. I’m in the process of losing it all plus more. I’ll be working with a trainer for the next 3 months. Lost 5 lbs so far.

I'm trying to cut down on my sugar consumption and eat smaller meals and healthy snacks/mini meals every 2½-3 hours. I'm gonna start that diet where you don't eat after like 5 or 6pm and go to sleep at say 10 or 11pm so that your body isn't still processing food when you go to sleep, but in fasting mode instead. So then you wake up and eat all your meals (small, protein-packed meals) within the next 12 hours. And I'm trying to go on walks cause my psychiatric doctor said it will improve my mental health and give me more energy as well as helping me lose weight.

I was so bored during lockdown and going crazy. Found a trainer who trained ppl outside and worked out with him 4 days a week since June 2020. When the gums opened I continued working out with him.

I didn’t gain until this year! lol gained 5 pounds due to excessive drinking because I got a puppy. So stressful … last year I stayed the same weight and was working out. smh

edit: I am losing it alll though… on day 7 of a smoothie cleanse and week 5 of a workout plan.

I probably put on 30lbs in a span of six months due to stress eating and reduced activity. The combo of being under lockdown, working overnights under highly restrictive conditions, plus having limited outlets to be active really did me in. By December, I started therapy and worked at rebuilding my eating and exercise habits. I got back into the gym early February and I am down 25lbs. Once the last chunk of 'Rona weight is gone, the next stage is to lean out.

It has been a roller coaster for me. I gained then loss and I am now gaining again. Trying to turn this ship around has been hard, but I am determined to do it. It is the emotional eating.

Me to a T. I didn’t wann be fat like everyone else, I did omad and lost. People would see me and be like “omg you lost so much weight!”

then I gained. But summers coming again so I’m losing.

I'm low-key a little depressed behind this weight gain. I just made the observation today. Staying inside has made me SUPER lazy.

I want to start small with a 30 min walk on the treadmill each day. It might be better to actually walk outside during the day and then after I get off of work in the evening, I can walk on the treadmill too.

Anyway, I definitely want to drop these pounds. Starting up is the hardest part to me.
