I’m only planning to buy 2 pairs of shoes this year. I’ve limited my collection to shoes that fit my lifestyle, that can wear for multiple occasions.

Im looking for a comfortable shoe I can wear to the office but something that can dress up a casual outfit.

I love the look of mules with slacks and jeans, but I’m not a fan of how they look paired with dresses or skirts.

Any recommendations?

2 for the year. I have shoes to handle all my weather issues.

Any specifics?

I agree with flats and an ankle boot ... black or brown so you have to worry about matching.

Frye makes great flats. For boots ... Nordstrom is having a great sale on boots everything is at least 50 percent off.

IDK why I thought you meant you were starting over and were only going to wear 2 pairs of shoes for the year period.

I know in the Parisian capsule wardrobe

One pair of Sneakers
One pair of ankle boots
One pair of loafers

that is it - if u want to add heels that is good too.

I’d go with:
-ballet flats (fall)
-ankle boots (winter)

Next, I’d buy:
-chic sneakers
-simple sandals (summer)

more than 2, but you can find cute sandals cheap, even at Target.and sneakers can be Converse or Vans. It really depends on your style.

I usually keep a pair of low heels in my closet. I recently purchased a pair that look similar to these

not sure how they'd fare in an office setting though

Frye was a nice suggestion I’ve already seen a couple of pairs that would fit my style.

I have some classic white sneaks, but I did want to replace my everyday sandals this year. I’m looking for something sturdy that doesn’t disintegrate after a summer.

I am a designer girl, but I love target sandals. I have had pairs for years and they are leather. I think target is best for simple non heeled sandals. Or if you wanna be a birkenstock hoe like me ... join the club. If you have a smaller foot, look into the kids sizes for a nice deal.

Since you want to go with a "minimalist wardrobe".

In my opinion.
They are comfortable, sleek and "minimalist".

Some folks might say stylish.
Best brand shoes I've ever worn.
I wish they were in business during my childhood.

Cause my feet could of been so comfortable throughout the years.

It's gonna be my go-to shoes for life, as long as the Company keeps making affordable/quality shoes.

Just my personal thoughts and views (03/08/2021).
Peace, Op.
