I hope sis knows how to speak her home language so we don't end up with a "Thandiwe" on our hands. But she's off to a good start since she uses her full Sotho name and surname... With the way I constantly hype my Zulu and Xhosa baddies, you'd think I am one, any other Sothos on LSA?

I find her beautiful but I was never able to get into her wigs, sense of style, OTT makeup and drawn on freckles etc. it’s all too much for such a pretty girl.

Isn't she an "emo girl" or whatever the hell? She's one of the few people who can pull a variety of looks off, the pictures I chose in the OP are more toned down though

IDK. I always found her style to detract from her beauty not sure if she’s an E-girl or not.

She looks great here.

I remember her and her sister from Tumblr, I remember at some point she was living in the UK before moving to Berlin to be with her German boyfriend or was that her sister  Anyways very pretty and I used to laugh at how Tumblr folks weren't convinced that they were/are from Lesotho/South Africa.

Lol, why weren't they convinced? That's so weird! Same thing happens on LSA sometimes when it comes to certain South Africans

I remember her and her sister! If I remember correctly, her features were at the root of disbelief of her being from Lesotho/SA. I also recall a few people saying that her sister looked Ethiopian (or Eritrean).
If she were taller, she most likely would have been able to make a killing as a model as she is stunning and has a unique and memorable look.

I could be in the minority, but her features don't look Horn African at all. When I initially saw her, I just thought "what a beautiful striking black woman!".... And then I found out she was from Maseru, where the other half of my family live, which was even better. But yeah, those attitudes towards South Africans sometimes occur on LSA in the year of our lord 2021

Yeah, it's quite sad and frustrating to still see actually.
Do you know what she is up to now? It seems that she just up and disappeared. I wish that she had been able to capitalize on her popularity.

I don't like when people darken their skin for views and likes but she is stunning.

My only problem is she a makeup fish? I also sense some plastic surgery.

I'm not sure on this one @FebenzaGhel

I think they’re fraternal twins. I actually like Mpho’s style better.
Yes, it is a bit more effortless and natural. Also, I wonder what their siblings look like.
Does anyone know how to pronounce Mpho's name? Is is em-pho or muh-pho?

Because people are convinced that "horners", habeshas, etc have the monopoly on a certain complexion and features on African women, meanwhile my half Angolan, half black South African self has been asked if I am Ethiopian in certain circles - go figure...

Mmm-po... The "ph" in Sotho-Tswana languages is a hard p sound.

True, it's like people think extreme good-looks are only exclusive to certain groups. What you said shocked me, because when I first saw Nyane none of that even crossed my mind. I just thought she was beautiful
