Okay, I admit it. I'm totally addicted to (somewhat) smutty romances

I don't know where I started. Maybe when I binged a bunch of old Harlequin novels...?

This is my reading guilty pleasure.

I just started Pulling Doubles — which I love so far.

I'm glad you've found something you're enjoying. However, it's a pet peeve of mine the way novels primarily for and by women are denigrated. No one does that to novels that are typically by and for men.

It doesn't have to be a "guilty pleasure."

Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now.

If you knew the quality of some of these books... lol.

I just read one where an American woman meets two brothers who like her and take her back to their Middle East-meets-Monaco country to marry them and their eldest brother.

Literally, I sat in the school pick up line and read the whole thing.

I fell into a hole of listening to silly smutty romance novels too and idc who knows anymore lmao. They’re just fun you get a lil spice of romance without without the actual drama or men :joy:. The more outlandish the better.

It's literally so fun. Sometimes, I will DNF a book if the storyline is too tame. Like, "Boo! This is romance. Give me something juicy."

Yeah the slice of life type ones are good bc they’re light hearted but still touch on issues it’s a nice balance. It’s my comfort genre lol I’ll check out the one you mentioned in op the description sounds good I love the build up of enemy to lovers :b41
