What one did you get?

I'm a guy and I do not like needles!! I'm scheduled for the Pfizer on Wednesday.

I got my first dose of Moderna and am now waiting for my 2nd dose. I only experienced fatigue and soreness for a day and had no problems since!

I got Pfizer. No issues. Just a sore arm & I was fatigued after each does. Not too bad though.

I got Pfizer. Didn’t have a preference, just took the one that was being offered at the site closest to me. First dose left my arm achy and the lymph node under the arm I got the shot in swollen for a few days, but it was no big deal.

I did my 2nd dose last week. No pain, no aches. I have been feeling fatigued, but I can attribute some of that to my mood and lack of exercise. All in all, it was quite bearable.

My mom got Moderna, fatigue and soreness at the injection sight with 1, 2 day flu like symptoms with 2. I got Pfizer, 2 day flu with 1, soreness at the injection site with 2 (felt like a mosquito bite). Other that that we’ve both been fine. My sister got Pfizer and was fine with both doses.

I got Pfizer. I had a sore arm after the first dose. After the second dose is when the side effects really kicked in, but after about 15 hours, I was okay.

I'm scheduled for next week but I don't get the option to choose. It will either be Pfizer of Moderna. My mom got Moderna and no side effects from the first shot. She just had soreness at the site of the injection and that was it.

side effects seem to be pretty random

parents - no side effects with either moderna - but they're 70+ so that is pretty much expected

sister - side effects with 2nd moderna

son - no side effects with either moderna shot

other son - side effects with 2nd pfizer

I got Moderna

My mom got Moderna. My dad got Pfizer.

My mom complained of some nausea after second shot ( which for her was about six weeks ago) but overall we're all fine.

Well, I just scheduled my first vaccination, and it will be the Pfizer vaccine. I'm having mine done at a Walgreens, which will be in a few days and then again on June 3rd. I was able to schedule both doses.

I got Pfizer, had little soreness at site on second shot. First shot had a little stiffness in my hand.

I got my first shot Friday. Pfizer. Sore arm with some pain that made it up my neck to my jawline. And I felt a headache creeping up so I took an Advil and that settled that and I had fatigue but it wasn’t body fatigue more like mental fogginess. It’s all cleared up now. Just a little pain at the injection site. Looking forward to my second shot in three weeks.

I got the Pfizer vaccine and had my second dose like last week. Just a couple of tips: make sure you’re well hydrated at least the night before, make sure to put something on your stomach, have some orange juice to sip on afterwards or something loaded with vitamin C, and take a Tylenol or two about an hour before. Also make sure to move your arm a lot so it doesn’t get super sore. I do this for all vaccines before the conspiracy theories start lol

I was only a little tired afterwards but I’m in my third trimester and I had been doing a lot of prep and running around before I took both doses. No problems other than that.

Fully vaccinated with Pfizer and had no side effects other than a little bit of a sore arm with the first dose only. Was kind of worried if that means I’m decently protected , since my immune system didn’t seem to have a strong noticeable response.

Things I have read online from medical professionals and experts indicate everything should be ok and that some don’t get the adverse side effects and it’s normal.

I got the Moderna shot. It was very straightforward and quick. My arm was sore for about 2-3 days afterward. Aside from that, no side effects. I have to get the 2nd later this month.

I recommend Moderna but also Pfizer since the experiences are similar.

How old are your sons if you don’t mind me asking? My kids are 16 and 17 and I am thinking about getting them vaccinated as well. I was dead set against it for us at first but after researching and praying about it I am closer to moving forward. I do prefer Pfizer

pfizer is the only one available for kids under 18. My "kids " :) are over 18

Is one better than the other or is it a much of a muchness? My country has canned the AstraZeneca shot for under 50’s and the latest news report is there will be Pfizer and Moderna for us. At this stage, Pfizer is only available to front line health, airport and quarantine staff.
