It’s “chintz”
It looks like it’s in great condition! How/where will you style it?
lol thanks! auto correct I hate this phone. Not sure yet. It won’t be an everyday couch. But it will be going in my alcove space. Def doing a dark moody wall but thinking about how to transition that into the bedroom :)

It's very nice ... at first I was like eh,but can you show us how you styled it. It's gorgeous and def a statement piece.
Yeah me too. I was like this is ugly AF but not? Then it grew more and more on me. I absolutely loved it once I saw it in person . The girl only wanted $300. on chairish 2 of them were listed at $4500.

Bought this octagon faux etched mirror at city Salvation Army for $10 two years ago , put it in the basement, and finally got around to hanging it (temporarily).

It was pretty foggy/streaky when I purchased it. whoever tried to clean it used something they shouldn’t have and It embedded into the surface. I don’t think the glass is real so it left a haze/fog. It also peeled some of the flower off but it’s not noticeable.

I had to really put some elbow grease with 91% isopropyl alcohol and microfiber cloth to get it out. It’s still slightly streaky in some areas but looks 99% better than it did.

Due to the shape and size, the plan is to off center it all the way to the left and add a few more art pieces to create a small gallery wall once. Plan to do this once I’m done painting the rest of the room. Just needed a quick visual to make sure that all the ideas in my head with the paint, couch, and mirror actually looked ok IRL. So far I’m pleased.

$20 at estate sale. I love black ceramic art deco/MCM figurines. I also have the clear transparent glass head too. It will look great paired with the sofa that I posted up thread. This is it for a few months lol I need to chill.

You’re so sweet thank you! I really appreciate it. I was going to transition my IG account to home decor and document all the things to my rooms that I’m redoing… or create a new account all together. If I follow through I will send you the link :)

Love your floors!
Thank you. It’s vinyl plank laminate by Life proof from Home Depot. The finish is Copperhill. I had original wood floors but the previous owners didn’t take care of them and despite me doing what I could to salvage I had to cover them. They began to warp.

This is really cool. Is it a chest or a nightstand. Do you plan to keep it as is or refurbish?
It's a nightstand. I plan to touch-up the veneer and keep it as is...it's an antique in good condition with the original hardware, so I like to preserve that.

I got this hamsa mug set for $14 on clearance from Anthro around Christmas time. Very boho glam. It was too pretty to use on a regular basis AND I didn’t want to put anymore plants or flowers in another vessel. I have enough greenery as is lol.

I then got the idea last week from Pinterest page to turn it into a candle (by melting old candles on a warmer from bbw home goods etc and repour them into a decorative shatterproof vessel) This will be used in the room with the blue wall.

I purchased 2 more objects for my gallery wall from FB market to go with the hexagon mirror. This is one of those instances where I will have to prob measure and Carefully place things so it doesn’t look a crowded mess, especially with them being oddly shaped. Usually I wing sh!t and eye it but can’t go rogue this time lol. The burst was $10 and seagulls were $20.

Wow ur right! Thank you. I like the 3D aspect of it. This and the birds are mildly channeling the Curtis Jere starburst flight wall art that I refuse to pay $400+ for lol.

Someone posted a medusa bust as a black woman in a black design collection from CB2 like a week ago and I cannot find that thread but I actually bought it. I’ll do an update once it ships out in December.

IMG_8083.jpeg

With taxes and shipping and a 15% off code came to a little over $363. Pre ordered. Ships in december.

I recently purchased/won this piece from a charity auction. I totally fell in love with the amazing attention paid to detail. The Swavarski Crystals are a BEAUTIFUL combination, and when the light reflects off of them it's simply breathtaking, my pic's are currently doing her absolutely NO justice..

I re-named her Amani " Peace and Tranquility"
