President Biden promised a US response to DarkSide yesterday and right now something very bad appears to be happening to DarkSide

Everybody involved could be lying :cautious:I
Exactly, if they could do all that , why didn't they do it before these cyberterrorists wreaked havoc ?, they've been holding companies to ransom for years now

Eamon is the Senior Washington Correspondent for CNBC. He's not an annoymous "internet source". He's probably vetted his sources.

random tweets as proof

planted by Biden's people

LMAO

This is the source of the tweets

Eamon is the Senior Washington Correspondent for CNBC. He's not an annoymous "internet source". He's probably vetted his sources.

And his sources are in the tweets.

Mandiant/FireEye is a major cybersecurity firm.

Intel471 is another major cybersecurity firm.

Their CEO's just released the same info as Eamon

Most companies don't release the info that they've been hacked.

I mean you do realize that this hack was of a private company right?

And other private companies specializing in cybersecurity released the info of DarkSide experiencing problems

This time though it's results was seen across the USA and it couldn't be hidden.

And they always do it.

Cybersecurity firms regularly releases updates on what's going on in that sphere but people rarely pay attention because it doesn't affect them.

In what alternate reality are you living?

Well, I hope you are at least doing OK in that one.

They don't have to release the info, these hacks have been reported time after time, for years cybersecurity experts have warned that bad actors have access to critical areas from our power grids to our dams, so it's not like US Intelligence players didn't know. The question remains that if US Intelligence had the ability, why would they wait so long to punish bad actors ?

Erm you are aware that they have right?

Iran.

Russia.

China.

North Korea.

Pakistan.

Vietnam.

Macedonia.

Turkey.

Morocco.

They or groups working in those countries have all been hacked by the US.

It's just never been officially acknowledged.

But you can follow the stories after hacking incidents. There's just never been a big one like this where a large amount of people actually noticed.

It happens all the time.

Like the Moroccan group that hacked voting systems in Florida in 2016?

And Congress in 2013 tried to pass legislation to do exactly that when it comes to private companies running infrastructure and businesses lobbied Congress and Republicans blocked it.

They weren't able to act on their own previously.

"Biden on Wednesday signed an executive order that requires the establishment of baseline cybersecurity standards for all software sold to the federal government. it also calls on all software utilized by the government to meet those standards within nine months.

According to a senior administration official, the executive order, which has been in the works since early in the administration, is meant to serve as an example to the private sector of the federal government taking the lead on strengthening cybersecurity."

The group blackmailing DC police released 250 GB of personnel information yesterday......guess DC did not pay.As the justice community tries to keep quiet these little foreign associates/hackers..

That all seem to have became more prevalent with Trump in office selling our infrastructure secrets to the highest bidders....
Trump booby trapped everything before he was ousted....
Biden needs to appoint Inspector General's pronto an clean house.
Immediately. Everyone is suspect.
