Yeah so are y'all going? I'd like to rent it at home but I'm assuming this one won't be offered at home.

Oh it’ll probably be offered to rent from home and most likely will be more expensive than a movie ticket which is a damn shame.

I'm hoping it's streamed or offered for a screening because it's been a minute since I've gone to a theater due to COVID, last time when I went I was alone by myself and COVID restrictions had just gotten enforced shortly after. I'm actually waiting to see Candy Man if they ever decide to release it.

You think so? I'd pay 20 bucks to see it.
Yea I’m sure it’ll be available for rent at some point.

I don’t wanna pay $20 to watch a movie one time at home.

Google says it’ll be free to stream on Paramount+ network somewhere between 30-45 days after May 28th.

They could have released this last year like they were supposed to. I'd think many people are still skittish about being in the theater.

It's going to be on Paramount+ (I THINK).

I actually been to the movies several times since the pandemic and that was not where I ended up catching Covid lol. I think the tall ceilings and limited seating was very helpful.

Not sure if I will risk it all for this movie. Maybe wait a few weeks???

Right and if they wait to try and release CM via movie theaters they will definitely have to enforce social distancing because it's highly anticipated at this point. But I wouldn't be surprised if people break the rules to haul in more $$$.
If they release it in theater, I'm not sure if I want to go, despite restrictions being lifted there are still high numbers coming in daily. I'm kind of lowkey betting on one of the services I've screened movies with before to screen it and I'll make sure I'm early to RSVP and join the room cause it fills quickly.

$170 for up to 20 people. I think it was $15 more per each additional person but it’s only 14 of us
I hope y’all enjoy yourselves! It sounds fun. The theaters near me have been doing this, too. When you think about, it is actually cheaper to do this way. I should gather up my (two) friends and to see the new Conjuring.

I would have to recruit some extra folks to take advantage of the deal. It's a good deal if you got the bodies... half the people I deal with don't even like these kinda movies so...

I get that, too! Hell, my theater charges $77.87 for one ticket and $65 for a popcorn...hell, you spend close to that anyway lol

It WILL be streaming. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are already complaining that they won't earn as much money as they could have if it was released exclusively in theaters. There have been several stories about how they're unhappy with the studio.

Personally I think that's a bad look considering how many people lost their jobs and businesses in the pandemic. A lot of people are worried about putting food on the table, those two are complaining about less millions on top of the many millions they already have.

I watch a bunch of spoiler review videos on Youtube cause it opened in Australia last week, I won't watch it in theaters but I'm looking forward to the Streaming. I mostly want to see Cillian and Emily..that Deaf Girl is annoying to me..

I'm going to watch this on fandango later on. I'm ok with the $20... not ready to go inside of a theater yet.

I saw this today. It was good! I thought it was slightly better than the first one actually. There were a lot of parts where you really weren't sure how they were going to survive.

Cillian Murphy was really good too. For some reason, I always see him as someone who's best in period pieces, but he blended into this role well.

I saw this a little while ago in a pretty small theater and it was somewhat full. I kept getting a tingling in my throat and kept coughing. I feel like it had something to do with their air circulation. Now I'm paranoid (tho vaccinated).
Anyway the movie was fun and had me jumping and yelping the whole time. I wonder if there's a setup for a sequel..
