I used to work in Communications and the director was a b!tch to me. I actually quit because of her, I liked comm. I am now in a similar field, but not the same. I saw a job opening where she works. We'd work on the same product, but different teams. I would earn more than her (based on our fields). I imagine we might have to collaborate, but I do not know this for a fact. Should I apply?

Did you play fake when you worked with her, or is that bridge burned? I say go for it and see what happens. No one person should have that much impact on your career path and finances.

Do what's best for you. Don't tell yourself no. If it doesn't work out find another gig

You're both right.

I wouldn’t do it if I were you. You said the bridge is already burned and she’s a White woman so that’s a recipe for disaster.
