It might not be as exciting as Atlanta or New Jersey but I think it would have the potential to be like Potomac especially with the black elites and Charlotte is very big on banking and stuff and they make A LOT of money especially people who own banks so there could be some potential there

I think it would definitely have a Potomac feel though but the problem would be casting a diverse cast since there’s not a lot of black people there and it’s mostly white but I think they could work something out

I’m from North Carolina and have visited Charlotte a lot to visit family throughout the years so I know what’s it like that might be why I see potential in the show

Thoughts? Who would you cast?

It depends on who they find. I think the cities that aren't national hubs work if they really focus on an interesting friend group but they have to find that one person who is the right anchor for the show and build around them. For Potomac, it was Giselle. Not to say she's the star of the show or anything but she was the first confirmed cast member so they looked at her circle and people adjacent to her to fill out the rest of the original cast. And honestly you could put that cast in any city of the US and they would be entertaining. So idk, hard to say.

I’m not not sure about casting but Charlotte is absolutely gorgeous and there are so many shops, restaurants, and places around the city they could film.

Wasn’t there already a show in Charlotte?

I think real mistresses or groupies of Charlotte?

I think they ended up putting all the episodes on YouTube because a network wouldn’t dare touch it.

They had a Real Sidechicks of Charlotte and that was pretty nice. They had to embellish the storyline a bit but I'd watch another season of it. I'm not too familiar with anybody famous in Charlotte and their tea but I'd love to watch it and find out if they did. The people I know in Charlotte consider it boring there but as long as it's a shitload of drama and some quotable clap backs then tell Andy to set it up!

I don't think so. I know I glanced at one of their IGs and it said aspiring actress in her bio, but the white chick actually dated that uglass rapper on the show in real life so who knows?

Charlotte is such a boring city. I lived there for 9 years.
however, it does have an “affluent” black community that appears desperate enough to flaunt their finances and be in reality tv. So it may work.
