She needs to do an official music video for it and def include some of the silhouette challenges type stuff in it like she did for the the viral tik tok "Say So" challenge/dance.

I get it too, this song is so addictive.

She should thank whoever started the silhouette challenge.
It was going viral on tikok before the silhouette challenge. The Hot Pink sessions she posted the end of December on youtube were being reposted and shared on tikok.

Streets blew up late December/early January and was making its rounds to tik tok and hot 100 charts. The silhouette challenge came the last week of January /early February. Don’t know why y’all are so eager to amp that challenge for the song being successful. The song is just simply a bop, that didn’t need a challenge behind it. I’ll give tik tok credit for discovering the Streets session live version and bringing attention to it. But that challenge had nothing to do with it. It’s long gone and the song is still being hyped.

The way she uses the N word bothers me. Like she is itching to use the hard R version. She is so separated from any perceived blackness, may as well be white. Her past behaviour doesn't help either.

She’s very talented, this was from over a year ago (almost 2 years) so I’m looking forward to whatever she’s gonna drop next!

I wonder how Scooter was feeling producing that song for her hmmm.

But yes to the black queens. I love when LSA promotes bw who love themselves.

She IS part white. Your first problem was looking to Doja Cat to be some sort of representation for you and black women as a whole. She's mixed. Mixed and being fully black aren't interchangeable.

It's a shame that you are misdirecting your anger. Black people give people an n word "pass" all the time then get upset when certain people use it. It doesn't make sense. Furthermore, you aren't necessarily upset at her usage of the word, you just think that because she doesn't allegedly identify with her black side that she shouldn't be using the word. Doja didn't grow up with her black father so I could understand why she may seem distant. She was raised by a white mother. Perhaps we should draw attention to the absent black fathers in the black community.
