More symptoms with the second. Experienced morning sickness (newsflash: All day sickness) and had gestational diabetes, heart burn, etc.

Oddly enough, the birth was easier.

I'm curious about this because I waited a looooong time and we are planning on having another one soon. A Dr. told me that after 7 years between the first and second births that its like 1st time again...

My second pregnancy was pretty easy and complication free, she was my smallest but I experienced that ring of fire. Lord jesus how I had another I don’t know.

My oldest was a teenager when I had my second. I had incapacitating nausea with both during the first 2 months.

I spotted with the second (drank raspberry leaf tea to strengthen my uterus - not a suggestion; sharing my experience). The second was easier in that I was able to have a natural birth; she's a girl. I have 3 children in total - the oldest & youngest are boys, and I was huge with both and had c sections with both because of their big boy heads. LOL

My second was worse. With my first, I ended up with carpal tunnel so bad that I could barely take care of myself.

With my second, I had morning sickness the whole nine months, at one point I had excruciating pain in my pelvic area due to her position, I had heartburn during the entire pregnancy, I had excessive saliva, and to top it off, I had an emergency C section.

I’m pregnant with my second boy now. I’m about 6 months along and the oldest will be 18months. TBH, the pregnancy is about the same which relative to other women with any real health issues is easy but for me and my age I feel not as easy as women probably have, if they are younger. That’s just my speculation though.

The first one, I was in labor for 16 hours which honestly wasn’t as bad as you might think, although, very, very uncomfortable & the delivery was eh, pretty smooth after I got the epidural. I’m hoping the labor & delivery will be easier this time around, but as for the pregnancy... about the same maybe a little bit worse. The morning sickness lasted a little bit longer and I am very tired and drained, more than I can remember being the first time around, BUT I’m also caring for a toddler, so I chalk it up to that.

I am to my son is almost 10 but, I heard if you’re healthy and active the pregnancy should go smoothly.

The one thing I regret not doing was drinking lots of water with my first. I to developed diabetes while carrying but lost it soon after birth.

My first was easy & I’m praying for an even easier one if I have a second.

I have a 6 year old and I’m about 3 months pregnant now. I was super sick for about 4 months with my daughter. This time, the morning sickness is pretty much tapering off. It was really bad for only 2 weeks. I has a c-section with my daughter, planning for a VBAC this time. Wish me luck!
